on a weird serious note- damn how has time flown by so quick. was at least 16 when i started listening but im 24 now. it’s so comforting to hear yall talk about your perspectives on time/aging. I would listen to you guys every day in college while walking to class. Just such a fond memory glad I came to tune back. Not only are you a comfort for me and others, but yall are funny and have good hearts. Hope you can keep going- you have a gift
I signed up to watch this for the FUNNIES. Not none of this WOKE SOCIALISM bull. That's it. I am officially unsubscribing from your RU-vid channel Mr. Funny Brothers. 🤬🤬
Neither 8 or 7 deadly sins were from the bible and theyre not meant to be "the worst things you can do" it was an attempt to figure out the root thought/motives behind all of the acts considered bad by the bible, to help teach people what to avoid without everyone having to read the whole book. God Bless boys
I love how you guys can have an elaborate intellectual conversation about the discovery of electricity, and then talk about eating sawdust immediately after 😂
While it was sad at the time should remind everyone watchinh in 2024 its been revealed that Uncle One and Uncle Fungus both almost definitely had terrorist connections. I just hope this kid is under proper surveilence these days.
While I don't really enjoy playing this game at all cause I think most the interesting gameplay things are merely the decisions made before you then engage in boring moment to moment gameplay, I wish more games were as cozy as this one for one, but I also love the whole passage of time thing. Harvest Moon is the obvious childhood analogue for me, but there's also Majora's Mask that has a cool spin on it. This is one of the things I could've sworn would become way more popular, at least in semi-linear games. I can see why they instead went with a more flexible radiant AI for Oblivion and how that rough framework became more popular overall, but the hand-crafted nature of timed events alongside how it feels like the world goes on without you is so cool in Harvest Moon/Majora's/Stardew etc. On that other end, I thought free-form sandboxy events would become more advanced by now, playing Skyrim in 2011, I pictured games keeping a log on several entities like bandit tribes, simulating their struggles for power in the background and transitioning into actual events if you got close enough, actual ecosystems that allow certain tribes to snowball or get wiped out, organic ways for new ones or offshoots to emerge when the big one gets spread thin, they'd team up/join their conqueror based on their traits. Then you give the player the ability to interact with it, going as far as sponsoring rival tribes etc. rather than taking a hammer approach to everything, knock-on effects from interacting with other factions or otherwise that themselves interact with these tribes and stuff, all a big interconnected web of cause and effect. Imo this is the main thing that would shake up the Bethesda world formula just enough in a way that feels so true to the series. Starfield's world feels more dead to me than ever though, besides Fallout 76 I guess. And I don't mean replace everything with procedural generation and emergent narrative system philosophy, but bandits are an example of something where we got nothing as it is anyway, and for things like Imperials vs. Stormcloaks, it could be largely hand written in ways that can adapt to the emergent layer it has.
This is incorrect. 1. Gender affirming care is safe and sometimes life saving. 2. Stuff like puberty blockers are reversible and when they are stopped, puberty continues as normal and doesn't affect fertility. 3. Hormone Replacement Therapy is not typically ever given to children and has proven to be safe. 4. Gender-affirming surgeries are not given to children.
Right above this is a post with a shit ton of homophobic comments, so this is appreciated. It's fun to see the whining about how all of society is "too PC" only to open RU-vid and see people spewing quite open hatred towards LGBT Just reminds me of how glad I am for SuperMega to have come back \(^_^)/
35:00 damn dudes, that was literally exactly my thinking when I tried to kill myself back in 2017... no joke... not a bit... I still sometimes wish I had succeeded...
Ive been listen to matt talk about death for 10 years strong, being able to die I think is better than living forever, imagine drifting in space after all planets and stars explode, nothing forever, sounds worse than death
