such a beautiful boy, I just want to drape thin ham and turkey slices on his bones, smother him in honey, and let loose a cage of ferrets. Get a lawn chair, and beat off while I eat my sour patch kids sorbet
Fun fact: Actor Matthew grey Gubler always wore mismatched socks specifically until he had to shoot a scene for the Life Aquatic and he ended up breaking his foot or ankle or something, bc it was bad luck for him to match
Lmao of course Matt believes that North Koreans are banned from getting that haircut even after that completely contradictory article said all North Koreans were forced to get the same haircut. There’s actually a documentary called going to North Korea to get a haircut by two Australian dudes who wanted to see which article was lying and they found that no surprise, they could get whatever haircut they wanted.
Y’all both have amazing bodies and you don’t gotta change for anybody. As long as you try to eat as healthy as you can, both of you guys are good the way you are.
Happy birthmonth my two beautiful sassy gay boys. 🌈 Wish you the best as a family of divorcees with a baby boy. I'm so glad social services let you adopt baby Justin in spite of the numerous arrests Matt's had and Ryan's poppers addiction 😢🤗😘
im glad you guys could finally come out about your relationship AND the pregnancy. i’ve had my suspicions but didn’t want to be rude and assume anything so it’s nice the have closure on that. congrats ❤️
very enjoyable podcast today, great job guys! funny bits great energy, nothing overdone, and interesting topics. Also the regular space talk i enjoy :0
Exactly lol Matt really doubles down on the absurd headlines without doing any research in to the veracity of the source the article is citing, as long as it’s about China or Korea of course.
@@dontlookspins yeah I’m always kinda surprised people actually believe that stuff still especially when they’re generally more left leaning. I guess in the US the anti communist propaganda and so on really is especially rampant.. but the headlines about the DPRK are always so outrageous, how can anyone read that and go “sure that seems right” lol
@@sefflikejeff1917ideological hegemony is wild, I hope Matt picks up a book one day instead of letting Twitter clips of Yeonmi Park and fox/cnn headlines tell him what to believe about a country that got firebombed back to the stone age by the US military and then had a puppet dictator ruling the south for US corporate interests for several decades following the Korean War.
I feel for Ryan because I am also a guy who's in decent shape, but has a bit of a spare tire. I think not all guts are created equal, and that I draw confidence from the fact that you can tell who has ab muscles under their gut pretty easily, and especially for shouldery guys like Ryan, you get more of a "oh that guy lifts" vibe.
love the boys and I understand the issues with youtube and the need for patreon, but maybe only shill it like once per episode instead of like 3 times it feels like 10 minutes of the podcast was a pateron ad
to answer Matt's question at 10:29 : coz they design junk food to appeal to ur tastebuds to make u crave them more than anything else. Big Food is making you addicted, u need to fight back
Definitely my favorite podcast episode so far. I love how you talk about such a wide range of topics and still manage to keep it entertaining and relevant. Keep doing what you’re doing
Jesus Christ my name is Derik, I'm in my early 20's, but I have not read art of the deal. Still that genuinely freaked me out when you guys addressed me
Its actually amazing how everyone will believe ANYTHING about North Korea. I love you mathew youre so cute but oh my god it was so funny to hear you say that PEOPLE are the traffic lights just straight up
56:03 Fun fact: in the movie “Be kind rewind” there is a scene where Jack Black does blackface because he so badly wants to portray a black man in a documentary. He immediately gets lectured for it and apologizes.
That raycon ad is so strange, like the script writer was kinda just saying words they recently semi-learned I google dupecession and it shows nothing, what the hell are they on about. It has such a corporate nonsense tone that I doubt Matt & Ryan wrote this themselves, yet even googling raycon dupe, raycon dupecession, none of this shows anything. Also interesting they went with the word dupe, it's used as a shorthand for duplicate, but it's actual definition is much more appropriate.
in pennsylvania and most states on the eastern seaboard the government told everyone that if they saw a lanternfly to kill them which is kinda the same thing lol
My favorite part of this episode is finding out i actually agree with north korea. On basketball of course nothings else. Dunks should so be 3 points. Good shit kim
The thing with that though is they may be protecting employees but they’ve done nothing with the artists they collaborated with. So they’re left with to the wolves and aren’t properly compensated.
Ayo Ryan, it's hard hearing you talk about yourself like this. You've been doing it for a minute now, and I hope you are able to talk to a professional about it at some point. You deserve to feel good about yourself regardless of your weight or the "peaks and valleys" lol. I'm 28 as well and struggle with the same shit, but this body dysmorphia stuff is the real mind killer dude and I hope you can get some relief.
I don’t think you guys should be promoting better help, it’s a pretty scummy company and you could potentially be putting your most vulnerable fans at risk :(
9:19 my names Derrek and I subbed to the patreon a bit before this came out and I’m technically in my early 20’s this threw me off like crazy the first time I watched this lmao😭😭
yeah if feel kind of dumb for hating that segment bc its mostly just a bit, but the misinformation spread about North Korea is just such obvious bullshit i cant help but get a little peeved.
@NormieKilla666 I don't think they were going for humor there, people in the west will believe literally anything they hear about the DPRK I remember having teachers at my school tell me about the "illegal haircuts" thing
Y’all gonna drive that poor young lad with the silly hat to the same fate the last one did (the hideous one) with all these money related pranks. Jimmy is a strong soul, he has our support. Someone needs to set up a petition for better work conditions for the little fella.
the reason we crave unhealthy things is from when we were hunter gatherers and some nutrients were more rare, our bodies evolved to crave those rare but important nutrients and so we would crave and seek out those rare things out, now things are in abundance for most and we have easy access to things we still biologically deem as rare even if they are not
