I was a teen-ager when Christy and Linda etc were very big. I remember with Christy, I didn't even feel envy because it was as if you understood her beauty was a freak of nature. Out of a bunch of models that were all ridiculously gorgeous, she was the extra ridiculous!
Me too. I still remember going to Kmart, Target with my mother, brother and younger sister in the 1990's. When I went to go find my mother in the make up section, I would see Christy Turlington picture. Little did I know that my mother is from El Salvador as well as Christy's mother. I finally found out her name in 2014 and her bio. I can see why my father hooked with my mother. My mother is 73 years old and my supervisor thought my mother was 55 years old last year (2022). I am 43 years old and I hanged out with 26-31 year old friends for a reason and yes I look very young same as my bro and sis.
I think she had the most beautiful classical face out of all the 90's model, she didn't even need makeup as her bone structure was perfect, even to this day she is beautiful. Now we have the new models they rave over who have had so much plastic surgery but still can't hold a candle to this beautiful woman.
She is the epitome of eternal beauty. I was working in the fashion industry for a long time but I have never seen anyone close to her. And she can age gracefuly not like the plastic surgery obsessed other supermodels such as Cindy, Naomi, Linda and above all Carla Bruni. In one word beautiful inside and out.
I must admit that although I absolutely love seeing Christy on various runways, she and Linda Evangelista dominated the pages of Vogue (especially) during late 80s and 90s and are the best examples of print modeling-along with Paulina Porizkova (can't forget that face of hers)
No właśnie nie ma. Ma niesymetryczną twarz. Ale jest bardzo, bardzo piękna. I to bez operacji plastycznych! Po prostu dobra wróżka, trochę w stylu Andrey Hepburn....
I remember Christy Turlington was a favorite of mine back then because she could do so many different looks and almost look like a different person. With a couple of her short haired looks, I thought she was Linda Evangelista. Also, she was beautiful with all the make-up but just as beautiful naturally without it. She always reminded me of a modern-day Audrey Hepburn, so all the more reason I admired her unique beauty.
She is an epitome that beauty is much more than what you see from the outside but importantly what comes from the inside. Timeless beauty, down to earth person
Ty for video...she has always been my fav since the mid 1980s....her daughter Grace is as gorgeous as she is ...and she is an awesome philanthropist...EVERY MOTHER COUNTS ♥️♥️♥️
@@glowsiren love it really puts me back into the day and I only vibe on certain things and it reminded me being in my 20’s and how truly unbelievable I can’t put into words how simple and beautiful they were natural all of that bless God for letting me have eyes to see them
😂 5:26 she washed her hair with hand soap from the wall…..WITH her sunglasses still on; an iconic move. I love some of the clips in here. She & Naomi spoke of how they were BF’s…..I can only imagine. I love they added the clip of them dancing (to “don’t call me baby”) 😅 girls with great times!! There’s nothing this woman could not do in the modeling industry. The fact she had curves was nice because it showed they needn’t starve to get them. You either have them, or you don’t. It’s the genes, and CT has them!! I forgot to add….I love how playful she could be on the runway. Especially the Chanel bikini; her face 😉😉, she knew just how to play with the audience. Again….she could do it all!!
Mirror mirror on the wall .... Freak of nature. I don't think people understand the levels. You put world class models who are all 10s next to her and they suddenly look bang average. That's the tell, how do they look next to Christy - invisible. It's laughable how captivating and perfect her face is. Just last week her natural face made the other 3 melted candles look frumpy and haggard at the Vogue World. They have obsessed over plastic surgery in a futile effort to chase the past whilst she remained natural. She always knew her face was a gift and shouldn't be tinkered with. Christy is a modern day Helen of Troy. Eternal and timeless and I haven't seen anyone come close. Wish I could have seen her irl in the 90s. If a camera is capturing this then damn
LOL - I think Carla Bruni said something similar once, about how - as a model - you get ready, you put on your make-up, and you think you look pretty good. But then you stand next to Christy Turlington.
