Supernatural - 8x07 - Castiel Reveals He Wanted To Stay in Purgatory 

Is no one going to acknowledge the fact that Dean's brain made up an alternate reality where he's the one who let Cas go because he couldn't live with the fact that Cas didn't want to come with him? I'M IN PAIN.

The way Cas said to Dean, "Not everything is your responsibility, my friend" really warms my heart. But the look on Dean's face when he learns Cas wanted to stay breaks it.

I just love how dean is about to cry and then gets all tough when sam pops up.

Whenever the music kicks in after Cas finishes telling Dean something important and emotional, I always count to three and, as always, Sam appears!

@ 1:07 Cas didn't have to grab his hand, Dean was safe, he was leaving either way. But he did it because he was saying goodbye and Dean didn't even realize it! *sobs*

"You Can't save everyone, my friend. Though you try."

"it would have been my problem" - "well, that's not the way i see it" ship it or not but this isn't a brother relationship. this is a friendship with a really profound bond also called "THE-ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME-RELATIONSHIP" even if it isn't in a sexual way. simple as that!

Forcing Dean to leave purgatory without him and suffer for his actions on his terms came at a greater price than he imagined. When Castiel said he needed to do penance I don't think being rescued and then enslaved to another angel - who is using him as an instrument to further her own ends - was what he had in mind.

It looked like Dean was going to cry if Sam didn't come in after Cas said that to him.

He is a fallen Angel. He doesn't want to be lucifer so he cast himself into Purgatory

Dean needed this scene. The guilt over leaving Cas behind was eating him up inside, it was killing him. Dean felt much better once he knew the truth.

One of the reasons dean is so pessimistic is because he’s always blaming himself for things. Even if it wasn’t his fault. It probably formed ever since his mom died

When most couples argue over their misfortunes, they're trying to place responsibility/blame on the other and take it off of themselves. These two just did the opposite. That's love right there.

this scene is so full of emotions - i really love the dean/ cas interaction in season 8 but the sam/ dean interaction was way better in season 7 i wish they would make more episodes with sam/dean/cas interaction (those are the best episodes)

I feel that they were dating and Cas broke up with him in purgatory and went through that awkward part where you have to explain you broke up with them

How in love do you have to be with someone that the mere thought of them choosing monster-land over you shakes you so much you remember it differently?

And I LOVE Dean, I really do. But sometimes I had to wonder if he loved Cas the way Cas loved him. I know he cares, he just has a hard time showing it...mostly because of the shit he faces bug that's the way he is.

even though I loved the way Dean almost cried during this scene💔but Cas was right in here!I get his nature of feeling responsibility for everyone around!but,about Cas he really went to far in this case!I mean I don't know what reason he had for thinking he was the one who abandoned Cas and it was all his fault,but it wasn't and even by seeing Cas,he was still tiring himself up for it!first of all he's not the one who abandons people!and second,even creating a fantasy to make his own guilt even worse than it already is self-harming!while some didn't even try to help,Cas showed him the reality and forced him to see not everything is on him!

I was looking away during the part with Cas saying " Dean look at it, really Look at it. " and I had to do a look back cause I was like wtf? is Cas exposing himself telling Dean to give it a really good looking at?

Dean is so fucking heartbroken in this scene it fucking breaks my heart. He’s literally about to cry. He stayed ONE WHOLE YEAR inside purgatory fighting off the monsters trying to get to Cas and praying to him every single night, when he could’ve gotten out a lot earlier. And then when he finally finds Cas, Cas decides to stay and he just couldn’t believe it that he subconsciously rewrote the whole event in his head to cope. He’d rather blame himself than accept that Cas chose to stay. Oh my fucking god.

Not normal guys either, at least one of them isnt. Ones a man hunts demons and monsters the other a angel. I believe you can show mild affection towards a angel and in supernatural and anyone knows who's watched the entire series that Dean has had little to no belief in god or angels his whole life. Castiel is the only thing outta of heaven including god himself that Dean trust and somewhat believes in. That what gives them their bond. Just how I see it. I dont see anything gay in that.

I once wrote a comment in this vid about how in love I think they are, and that I ship them now, even when I tried hard not to. I deleted the comment because I recieved hate from a non-shipper, but, wth I will comment again. I think they are in love. This is my interpretation of the characters. Their relationship is unique and I can't see it any other way. I wish for their relationship to take the next step and be acknowledged as a romantic couple. This is my opinion. :)
