Well, if you already saw season 12, you will know why Dean is like that, Dean is so overprotective with Sammy, for one reason: absent parents. Remember the last episode of the 12th season? When Dean When is Dean trying to get Mary out of the fantasy that "the bad guys" put her into when they brainwashed her? Dean literally tells his mom: "I had to be more than just a brother, I had to be a father and I had to be a mother, to keep him (Sam) safe! And I couldn't do it ..." To Dean, Sammy is SO MUCH more than his little brother, Even having their parents with them, if they analyze everything well, we all realize the obvious, that the "Winchester family", there really are only two members, Sam and Dean. They both got used to having each other's company since Sammy was a baby and Dean was 4 years old, they have been the only family they had, they only had and have each other. Obviously Helen, Jo, Bobby, Charlie, Castiel, Jody, Alex, Claire, Donna[...] would arrive later. And well, that's the only explanation I can give you haha, maybe Sam was no longer the responsibility of Dean going for Sam so that together they look for their father, But they only had each other (and if you analyze everything carefully, the reality is that they only have each other ...) For me, the best moments, really the most special and emotional ones between Sam and Dean, are from season 8 to season 12. idk, but I feel that in season 8 it was as if strengthening their bond (as brothers, Obviously; -;), bc obviously both have grown, and mentally the change is very noticeable. And then when the 12th season comes Well, I think there is no need to explain this, u know? Dean himself said it, no, wait, Dean does say that he had to be more than just a brother, he had to be a mother and he had to be a father for Sammy. And honestly for me it was something very sad but at the same time Dean was only telling the truth, obviously you know what I'm talking about, when Dean confronts his mother and tells her everything. and then, is when we realize the true family bond between Sam and Dean, they are brothers, best friends, and although one of them had to take on the role of a father / mother figure, no matter what, the two of them have always chosen family over everything (you probably already know Chuck's monologue haha). But for them, the only family they have is them. Even if their mom or dad are with them, Sammy is everything to Dean, and vice versa. In those seasons I mentioned, it's like they'll show a lot more than we've already seen , The feelings that they told each other directly (until they exploded in a fight), everything became more intimate, idk if I'm crazy, but since then they became more open with their feelings Before, it was as if they kept on the sidelines that position of "men that nothing can hurt them, that you will never see them cry and even less say emotional words" haha. but that's already gone alv 👌🏿. the only thing that matters to both of them is that, there is nothing in the world that they wouldn't do for each other I'm so sorry! I think I got really excited writing this 😅

Andry C.B lol no worries. I totally get it. I mean the bond was kinda strained during season 9 and a little bit of 10 but otherwise I totally agree, I love how close they are/have become over the seasons.

But when he said "I wouldn't do the same" he meant he wouldn't do something selfish that his brother didn't want just so he doesn't stay alone. So it's consistent. He would do anything for him even letting him go and suffering without him if that's what Dean wants.

Yes, Jensen’s (Dean) voice did get deeper... he had mentioned at one of his panels that he started talking deeper to try to be more like Jeffery Dean Morgan (John) and as he did that it just continued naturally.

@@leahrein8695 there's an episode called Baby in season 11 it's from the whole POV of the Impala and it's the most brotherly love episode in the whole damn show
