this was the main fight that caused EVERYTHING that happened after that in the series, a lot of things could have been avoided had it not been for this fight, and the next episode defined the Fate of the boys, I can't wait to see the reaction video 9x11

Sam's line at the end. Dean didn't acknowledge that the fact that he tricked Sam into being possessed itself was a bad thing, he didn't acknowledge the pain he caused Sam by making that decision. He was talking about the end results and how Kevin died and that he's poison. In this moment, Sam was feeling betrayed, he'd just got control back from being possessed, found out his brother had been the reason that happened, and he now has the memories of *his* hands killing Kevin. And Dean made it about himself and how he's poison and didn't even ask Sam how he was feeling about what had happened. To Sam, Dean isn't poison. The problem here isn't that Dean is "poison" it's that he took away Sam's autonomy and choice. Like I've said before, by allowing Gadreel in (even when he thought he could be trusted, even when he thought he was Ezekiel) he was allowing a stranger into his brothers mind to know everything about him, he was allowing him to take over control at any time, he asked him to do so many times himself. When Dean allowed "Ezekiel" in, he didn't know it was going to end with Kevin dying, but he did know in that moment that he was tricking Sam, forcing him to be possessed, he knew the whole time that he was lying to Sam. To Sam, as much as Kevin's death hurts (and as much guilt as he's going to feel for that because he literally has memories of killing him...) that's not his issue here. His issue is that he was just possessed, his brother knew about it from *before it happened,* and the last time he dealt with possession is Lucifer. (Okay, but seriously, when Lucifer possessed him, he felt him kill Bobby and Cas. And now after Gadreel, he's felt him kill Kevin. His past with possession is bad...) And worst part, Dean didn't even apologise to Sam. He made excuses about how he couldn't let Sam die. Yes, I get that letting Sam die isn't in him or whatever, but that's no excuse for what he did. Dean's view on it was that the bad thing that happened, was Kevin died. Yes, that was bad, but that wasn't the only bad thing that happened. All of it was bad. He took the blame for Kevin, but didn't acknowledge at all that he'd hurt Sam. Basically, Dean was looking at it as the end result is all that matters, Sam is looking at it as everything leading up to the end result also matters because that is now part of him and something else he's always going to have to live with, these memories that he's always going to have. At least that's how I see it. Sorry for how long and rambley that got, I just have some very strong feelings about this story.

You know why I love your reactions videos, because you don't cut the episodes and you notice every small moment that others miss. Its really awesome watching this amazing series with you again. Supernatural will always be my favourite show... Jared and Jensen just killed it with their amazing performance. Waiting for the next episode, Keep it up👍

"I can't blame on Sam or Dean" For me that's basically the whole show, I don't like when people pick sides, usually Dean and somtimes Sam. In SPN, Is Always about perspectives. Sometimes I hate that I can't "pick a side", it confuse me xd, But other times I'm glad I'm someone who can see from a different perspective because it helps me to understand Characters in Fiction and People in Real Life. But, Of course, understandind doesn't mean Agreeing, like just because I know why someone did something doesn't mean I think it's ok or justifiable. And that had happen A LOT in SPN, with both of them.

i don't think i've ever hated a character more than metatron?? ever? just like sheer seething hatred? and i can usually enjoy a proper villain but this dude,, oof

I've said it before and we all have our own views on it of course but I don't think what Dean did with letting Gadreel possess Sam was inherintely bad, it turned out horrible but because he was lied to and manipulated, the whole "I did what I had to do" that has been said so many times this season I think describes it perfectly, he didn't really have any other choice in that moment and he was trying to do the best to take Sam out of that suicidal state he was in. I said this before too, it's like taking a loved one that's suicidal to a clinic but the people there mistreat the patients and you had no idea that was gonna happen. That's how I see it, of course I see from Sam's perspective too and the codependence is still there and it's a huge problem they have and it's why they have a lot of issues and miscomunication but yea, for Dean right now... it is building for something really really bad isn't it?! Also yea Kevin deserved better!

Sam is so hot in season 9. Btw you can really see how Jared plays Gadreel in full size - he sometimes bends a little down for Sam to not intimidate people

I love the relationship the boys have with Crawley,they’ve had multiple chances to kill him and feel down they can’t and likewise with Crawley and them. They know they need each other in a weird way lol.

I liked when you said you don’t blame Sam or Dean bc when it comes to this situation ppl tend to pick a side but I see where both are coming from. With Dean he always took care of Sam so he feels that he should always protect and save him. Also at the end of episode 1 Sam chose to stay alive and the only way to do that was to be possessed by gadreel. Plus initially gadreel had good intentions he wanted to heal Sam, but was manipulated by metatron. But Sam was also right b/c dean shouldn’t have lied to him about being possessed, he should’ve told him about gadreel in the first place. This way the boys would have talked about how they would handle the situation. I feel like most of sam’s anger is coming from the fact that Kevin died by “his hands”

One of my favorite things about the angels is that each angel possesses everyone using a blueish white tenril, but when Castiel possessed Jimmy or Claire Novak, it was holy gold light shining from above. Kinda makes him stand out or something...

I don't blame Dean for Kevin. Gadreel lied to Dean about who he was, When Dean prayed for help literally 3 of the 4 angels who came tried murdering him & threatened to kill Sam if i recall correctly. After that I can't blame Dean for leaping at the 1 "good" Angel that promised to help him. Plus before Metatron got his hooks in him Gadreel was doing what he promised. There was no indication Gadreel was bad before Metatron. Gadreel chose to lie, Gadreel chose to hear Metatron out & Gadreel chose to murder Kevin. None of those choices were made by Dean. It's not Dean's fault that Gadreel killed someone. Plus Metatron had it out for Kevin & the boys had no idea about that they were chasing Bartholomew & Malachi. If Metatron didn't send Gadreel he would've found another fallen Angel to send or even himself. We've already seen how he can get past warding. As far as tricking Sam into the possession I've spoken on that before, but I'll say there's noway I'd EVER allow my brother/parent/uncle/aunt/grandparent/best friend/friend/etc to commit suicide or willingly die. idc if they're consciously choosing it or not, matter fact that's worse in my opinion. I know there's a lot of opinions on suicide. I'm against it in almost all cases. Only exceptions being mercy killings ONLY when the person at hand is in so much pain/agony & on the verge of death or only still alive cause of machines. In those cases I could understand pulling the plug or them wanting you to pull it. Sam was in a coma & dying fair, but he was perfectly lucid in his mind while talking to Death. Dean saw that & couldn't allow the suicide, neither would I. I do wonder why Death allowed Sam to be tricked instead of stopping it though. He was in Sam's mind, saw Gadreel reveal himself before possessing Sam. Likely knew Dean/Gadreel were watching. Just wonder why he didn't intervene. On a slightly petty note lol, All of those arguing Dean is in the wrong are you REALLY arguing that you'd rather Sam have made the deal with Death & died & never be apart of the show again except maybe flash backs? I have to assume since you're a fan you love Sam & wouldn't wanna see the show without him? If so then be happy with Dean's choice. (this is a petty note remember. It's not an sword I'll die on debate wise lol) Also, Kevin was smited by Gadreel Dakara, we see in that episode Angel's smite a campsite full of humans & later in the episode Dean (or Sam) reveal those kids at the site were all killed & had their organs melted. Pam only survived the Cas thing because Cas didn't smite her she just forced him to reveal his true form to her (humans can't see Angel's true forms without their eyes burning out) but when an Angel raises their hand & shoots angel flame that's smiting & it kills. Gadreel is very powerful btw, that's why he was chosen to guard Eden against the serpent. (In order to be an effective guard against Lucifer he'd have to be powerful. Lucifer tricked him into letting him in rather than just slaughtering him) I don't think Gadreel is as strong as an Arch Angel but he's gotta be close enough for Lucifer not to risk the fight. So that would be why Metatron wants him. All that being said, great reaction Dakara!!! Can't wait for more.

I'm loving your season 9 reactions and I really am just happy that Cas is there for Dean and Sam and that Dean actually gave a proper apology to Cas for kicking him out. I just like there freindship bond and I just love Cas, I also love Crowleys character so much 😂.And I just feel bad for both Dean and Sam at the end of this ep,like I agree with Sam as it wasnt really deans choice to make. But I cant really blame Dean for what he did as he wanted him to live also..IS DEAN SERIOUS, HE IS NOT POISON, PEOPLE AROUND HIM DONT DIE BECAUSE OF HIM LIKE CAS OR SAM HASNT...ANYWAY GADRIEL OFFICIALLY SUCKS (and this is supernatural death means nothing😂)...Basically I really hate but love this episode.And Jared did act great like always and same for Jensen and Misha

When Dean talks about how he's poison I was so annoyed because thats boring! Both of them have had arcs/dealt with feeling like they kill everyone around them (Sam felt guilty for Mary/Jess/Sarah and Dean felt guilty about his dad sealing his soul for him and even for Lisa and Ben) And in addition to that: I understand that Dean feel guilty and wretched but during his speech I was just so pissed that he was making it about him? He's allowed to feel however he wants but he came over specifically to talk to Sam and then he decides that Kevin isn't Sam's fault, which it isn't, but he doesn't get to fucking dictate Sam's emotions especially because Sam's the one who can't feel safe in his own skin after this, not when Sam was just Fucking violated and lied to and betrayed and had a demon shove needles through his skull
