Supernatural "WE HAPPY FEW" (S11E22 REACTION!!) 

Interesting fact. I don’t know how it is now, but after the show ended there was news that Ruth Connell (Rowena) and Rob Benedict (God) were dating. Ruth had many photos of them together on Instagram.

Really enjoyed the conversation between Chuck and Lucifer. Snd love that Chuck said Rowena was one of his guilty pleasures and those actors are together in real life ❤

Re: the dog collar comment - Crowley was not sucking up to Lucifer. He was making light of it as if to say, "You didn't get to me, you didn't break me, I'm perfectly fine cracking jokes about it." Which I don't think is strictly accurate, but doing so is very, very Crowley

Damn, these family feuds in this show when it comes to these supernatural beings. It always gets crazy and the Winchester brothers get wrapped up in the drama

Michael was going to be more in supernatural but the actors agent said no to him coming back because the pay was to low, when the actor found this out he was mad and fired them. Which is why we didn’t get Michael which was sad. (This might be wrong but I’m 80% sure-)

My personal head canon for why the Mark didn’t work for Sam was because currently their were no sibling issues between him and Dean. I think the reason the Mark was able to bind Amara was because she could relate to the host of the Mark who was going though some sibling issues like her and God. You got Cain & Able then when Dean got the Mark he and Sam were in a feud. But now not so much which is why it didn’t work

They really should've had Michael possessing Dean and Lucifer possessing Sam this episode, that would've been great. The idea of Michael being out of commissioned always bothered me cause couldn't God just heal him?

It's great having the whole gang here to go against Amara, just wish we had Cas back already. It also would've been cool to have Mark Pellegrino as Lucifer this ep as well.

My favorite, wide-shot scene in the series.. all my favorite characters in one place.. just that one over head shot, before the fight *chef kiss* I used that screen shot as my desktop for a long time. even though Amara sucked out Donatello's soul, I can't hate her because she took out metadouchatron.

loved the vibe of this episode but i also wish it was Luci's main actor.

The next episode is one of the best season finales.

I think Misha did a really good job mimicking Mark Pellegrino. But, I still waaaaaaaay prefer Mark’s Lucifer, and also wished he were in this one instead.

Shame Clea died I liked her and the others who died for no reason. I hate it when the show does that

I still love Crowley, but I am starting to not like where he is in the story, and Rowena is wearing thin. I am just having a hard time with the execution of the God/Darkness story, trying to be patient.

That musical bombast at the very end was always bizarre and rather laughable.

I wish I could like this storyline more. Personally, I've found how God's actions and absence impacted his celestial children to be one of the most fascinating parts of this show. Just from the very beginning, when we first learn that God isn't giving the orders anymore, and that Michael is leading Heaven towards the Apocalypse ... all because God left, and maybe this will finally bring him back. Michael doesn't even want to kill Lucifer, that's his brother, but he thinks it's what he's supposed to do, for Father, as the dutiful son. Lucifer used to be fascinating to me, before he became just an annoying, petty and pathetic sadist. I loved when we saw him despise humans, but love the rest of his Father's creation. When he refused to bow before humanity, and was cast out for it, and how much it hurt him. That was the Lucifer that it made sense Uriel spoke of in the way he did. The shining older brother, fierce and beautiful, who refused to bow before the "mud monkeys". I loved how Cas wanted to search for God after rebelling against Heaven, because surely God would set things right, God would be someone he could serve proudly and fully. Only to have that faith deeply hurt, when they learn that God knows of their plight, but is refusing to take action. But God brings Cas back, and Cas thinks it means something, that their Father had some plan with that, a task for him, only it goes wrong. And then Cas in madness tries to replace God, to become the Father that Heaven craves. The angels are so, so deeply messed up by God's actions, but also long so deeply for him. And I just can't help but be disappointed that THIS is the payoff to that? THIS is what God being back gives us? It's far from the worst Supernatural has given me, but to me it's some of the most dissapointing, because the show laid so much groundwork for this to be better. You bring back God, without Michael being there? The show even forgets that Michael is the elder son, and refers to Lucifer as that. As if Michael and Lucifer weren't meant to be reflected in Dean and Sam, the dutiful son and the cursed younger brother in conflict, with the Winchesters refusing that narrative for themselves. There is SO much I feel is missing. Michael reacting to God, to what God thinks of all he did. Michael and Lucifer interacting after both being faced with God; how do they see each other after that? Can their relationship change now? How can all that affect who they each are? And how all of that could affect the Winchesters. They have very good reason to despise both Michael and Lucifer, but does seeing them more vulnerable with their Father change that in any way? And what about the regular angels? Everything that has happened with Heaven has been due to God leaving! God brought Castiel back, even made him a higher rank of angel. The angels became divided. Either follow "Fate", the Apocalypse, as laid out by Michael the firstborn and continued by Raphael, to bring Paradise and the return of ther Father at last. Or, follow Castiel, the Chosen One by God (or the New Lucifer, depending on who you asked). And then Cas kills Raphael, and decimates the angels when he kills those who refuse to abandon the Apocalypse. He makes himself a New God, then disappears on them, leaving Heaven in utter chaos. All of that suffering, just because the angels want to do what they think God wants from them, to please their ever absent Father. And THIS is what we get for a reaction from them when God returns to the story? MINOR SPOILER FOR NEXT EPISODE But I remember thinking that at least they would do something with God and Cas, surely. That has been such a HUGE part of Cas' character, and Cas has become THE supporting character in the show, surely they will do something. Holy shit was I disappointed! That should teach me not to have faith in this show 😂

Dean’s reservations about the plan against Amara makes sense for two reasons besides his connection to her. First sealing doesn’t mean death she’d still be a threat, just like with Lucifer. And second since he’s been around he can understand her point of view and the fact that God is so willing to be done with her yet he gives Lucifer a second chance does seem off, especially since Lucifer has done way more than Amara
