When I journey shamanically, I am often led to an underground hot spring. There is healing water, drumming, singing. It is such a deep ancestral memory and so healing to my soul.

i so appreciated this conversation and bringing the importance of water to the forefront. very powerful conversation you 2 had. im pretty near Shasta and have been called there for a while.And i just happen to love live music and dancing to the rhythm. i do this often. and the bands love it when we dance to their vibe. it completes the circle of the music- going out and circling back to them with our dancing in recognition of the music they are creating. Hail to the mother Gaia and her primary waters of life.
I loved this, as it reminded me of the Hindu scriptures and the Veda's, whereby, the Indus river creation stems from the Himalayan mountain ranges and the story of when Ganga Ma (Goddess of the Ganges) comes tumbling down from the upper realms, she comes down with such brutal force because her father has told her she has to get married and she doesn't want to. Anyway, her temper and the force of the fall from the upper realms, would result in chaos and destruction upon Earth, so Lord Shiva catches her in his locks of hair, as she comes tumbling down, to ensure that although she plummets to Earth with such anger, that she lands softly, avoiding the destruction of Earth, hence the creation of the Ganges river streams. Water is so important within Hinduism, that no rituals, or, fasting, prayers are started without the presence of water, it is always offered in the first instance.
