Supertramp - Goodbye Stranger REACTION/REVIEW 

I love Supertramp. I once was in a metal band with this dude older than me, and when I auditioned, I played original shit. He said "You are a Supertramp fan. I can tell by the melodies in your riffs.". Most of my friends didn't even know. 😂😂😂

Deep deeper rabbit hole. You won’t find many songs that aren’t fire from these guys. Great musicians.

Supertramp, was five amazing musicians, creating albums, not singles. Each song is produced at very high-quality .Breakfast in America and crime of the Century two of my favorite.

Straight back to high school! God, I'm so glad I grew up with this music in my life! I still know all the words!

This song brings back memories of a good friend long ago who got married and moved far away. Supertramp was her favorite band. As we drove away from her wedding reception this song was on the radio. Little did I know that I would never see her again. Whenever I hear this song I think of her. My fave by them would have to be "Even In The Quietest Moments"

First, thanks for the reaction - you really felt this one!! Second, for a suggestion as to what's next I would suggest going back to the first of their "Super" albums, Crime of the Century and do each track there. Start with "School", continue with "Bloody Well Right" and through the rest of the LP, song by song! Then on to the next album and do the same with the songs on "Crisis? What Crisis?"

Supertramp are under-rated. I went to a concert in the late 70s. My favorite of all their music is SCHOOL. Mind you, I am partial to the piano and love it in that song. Glad you liked this one too!

The best song about one night stands ever!

I saw them on their final ever show in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, this was their final encore song.... everyone was in tears. But still cheering. Actually I am wrong, this was the first encore, the last one was take the long way home.

Didn't we all do that in our younger days? We just wanted to check out different women but eventually there was the one that nailed me down. You run around in your youth but at some point you grow up.

BizMatic, always a treat to watch you 'cuz you got your head nailed on straight. Take a close look at the color album cover for BREAKFAST IN AMERICA... the waitress "Libby" is actually the "statue of liberty" with her (food tray) torch, and menu in arm, being observed from the window of a jetliner flying in over Manhattan (background) made out of cutlery and condiments One of the most brilliant metaphoric pieces of pop art I've ever seen anywhere.
