SuperYachts at the 2022 Palm Beach International Boat Show | Yacht Addiction Behind the Scenes

Last week I was at the Palm Beach International Boat Show. We toured a ton of superyachts and yachts and I can't wait for you all to see them! Join me on a walk around the show as I head to my first appointment of the day. A full tour of the super yacht you see at the end of the video will be posted next Wednesday so keep your eyes out for that! At a show like this you can find every type of boat imaginable. From smaller outboard boats all the way up to 200 foot plus super yachts. In this video I point out a bunch of different displays including ones from ‪@MarineMaxOnline‬, ‪@HmyYachts1‬, ‪@PrincessYachtsOfficial‬, and‪@HorizonYachtUSA‬. @@YachtAddiction No, I wish. It was a play on words. "I will get this or that when my ship has come in." A play, meaning when I will get money. Probably a bad play on a yachting channel. Enjoy the boat show, thank you!

The Florida shows can get pretty crazy in size! There are also smaller regional shows that aren’t nearly as big.

Walking the docks is a nice change, especially if you're letting us know we'll be seeing tours of the yachts you're passing. My preference is for the 45 meter+ category, so when you get yachts in or near that length, that perks my interest. ;)

I’d love to get on more superyachts 45meters and greater but it gets a little tougher to gain access to those but I am always trying! Lady L is 44.6 meters so you’ll see that this Wednesday!

Cheoy Lee, Ocean Alexander, Bering, Numarine, Horizon, and Riviera are some of my favorite yachts. I would love to see a Horizon 105 or something bigger than 100'. I've seen the 87 a bunch and the 92 but never the bigger ones. The Cheoy Lee Expeditions I loved since I heard about Dorothea III. The OA 35 and 37R are wonderful too and so nice looking. I appreciate you taking us behind the scenes. I like this video. I also like videos with factory reps in them. Not the sales people for the brokers, but the reps. They always give great insight as to why things were done how they were.

I wasn't able to get on any Horizons this trip but hope to do so in the future. Even though it isn't the largest boat out there, the 85' Ocean Alexander I toured was actually one of my favorite boats I saw at this show.

The Sunseeker display showcase is on in the UK at the moment. Lots of nice cars and boats

This show had a great Sunseeker display with many models! It was deeper in the middle section of the show so I couldn’t call it out for this video. You typically find a display for every major brand. Maybe next time I’ll do a longer walk past everyone’s display!

Do production yachts manufacturers like sunseeker , princess, azimut allow to opt for tender garage rather than having a crew cabin on a sub 80 ft flybridge models.

That's a good question. I personally haven't seen any flybridge models from them with the garage. Normally you see garages on sport or express cruiser versions. I will have to ask a rep the next time I see them.
