they've always been known as substitute teachers here and I've only ever heard supply teacher used on US shows, so these comments are weird to me, I'm Irish but I'm pretty sure the most used European term is substitute and the term supply teacher came from American vernacular, but I could be wrong

Karla was promised to sing, didn't get to which triggered her aspergers (Karla takes every little detail seriously) and then Steph got slapped for trying to calm Karla down.
