Dr Sien Van Der Plank is an Anniversary Research Fellow at the University of Southampton. She shares an update on her fellowship and discusses her research into small, coastal communities and the challenges they face due to climate change. She explains how her research is helping to give a voice to these small, coastal communities by including them in the planning and democratic processes.
