Suppressors have their place in hunting. I hope they can balance the suppressors well. Muzzle brakes have their advantages in reducing felt recoil as the cost of blast.

I always carry a bow and rifles. I use a bow like a silencer and the defense from big bulls. If they add 300 blackout like irl, it will be good, because to hunt of small predators with the air rifle it's hard (inaccurate). If they add suppressors for all the rifles, I'll throw out the bows and will wear only Sundberg 454 for defense. Suppressors or bows. To be, or not to be, that is the question.

I hope they add shooting sticks and bipods. I even made a post about it on the COTW discord

Suppressors will reduce the recoil in 1/2 . It just take crack of the bullet breaking the soundbarrier out of the sound which will be great.

The main thing they need to keep in mind is that suppressors are not silent. From what I see is that at long range animals don't notice much, except for the bullet impacts. At close range animals run, but run a short distance before looking for the noise source, which is mainly with subs. Then they need to know difference between subsonic and supersonic ammo, a new subsonic ammo type I think would be necessary. It will either be too good, or lacking when it is first released, im leaning towards too good, so they can sell more dlc's, then will tone it back after some time. Either way they are going to have a tough time figuring out a good niche of when suppressors are needed. Maybe you can kill more animals in a zone before feed zones, etc disappear, but then what would happen with bows? Etc. Stuff like that.

For suppressors new subsocinc ammo with same stats but with bigger bullet drop, smaller sound radius and maybe smaller hunting pressure. For muzzle breakes - guns more wobbling in standing position low recoil lying position. This would not be too difficult to implement in the game.

Scopes with lens magnification effect and new weapon and hand textures would make this game so much more immersive. The maps are beautiful but the actual textures on the hands and weapons look pretty rough. Scopes as well look bad with no magnification effects. I do love this game and I feel like this could help lift the immersion even more!

I would love suppressors. They are more common place in hunting. Actually getting my 1st one after shooting my buddies. Definitely help not spook critters as much. Definitely could add weight additional to gun to balance it in game. I think it would be great to get accessories other than scopes to add to our rifles.

I'd really like to see them add suppressors into the game, they would be super helpful if they didn't disturb as many animals but I would hope they wouldn't have any silly drawbacks such as decreased velocity or damage. I feel like that should come down to the specific ammo (subsonic/supersonic). I personally think adding thermal scopes or monoculars would be great, as well as tripods or bipods. 👍👍

Have the hunting pressure be between a bow and regular hunting pressure when using suppressor but have them not be great at long distance shooting perhaps. Maybe be used for closer range shooting but either way they need to be balanced bec it could be too OP especially when grinding

the thing that would make silencers not Overpowering is that if it’s realistic you would not only need to have the silencer but you’d have to use subsonic ammo for it to actually be quiet with the silencer and the subsonic ammo would have less penetration than polymer tips would

a supressor slows down the bullit a bit. So you got more bulliet dropp and less energy in to the target. If you want it more Quiet. pick a subsonic version of some rounds get hearing safe. but not hollywood quiet. I would want it for classic.

I hope so, especially with the blackout coming. I wanted it for a while, even said it a few times on the subreddit but I was told that it would be a gimmick and that it doesn't help enough with the sound to matter in game. I've also been hoping for years now for them to add mono/bi/tripods, but I was told the same. I've also been hoping for years that they'll add a .177 airgun or at least port the .22 airgun from classic, and guess what, I was told the same.

I would love to see suppressors as long as when shoot at an animal in a heard or group one would drop and the others would be nervous but stay around so you could take another animal if you wanted to

Yes more attachments n items. We have enough guns. Need more accessories to use in th3 hunt.

I just saw the video they posted and it's wonderful, because we see the EW team is taking this hunting game seriously. It's a good thing that they experience first hand I'm talking about the EW team to see that weapons of different calibers don't have the same effect of shooting power, when the calibers are different like Jaxy said when he was using the 470 Nitro for the first time he almost injured himself. I've never hunted in real life but hunting virtually is fun, it's like I was there because of the immersion of the COTW game. I don't mind having the suppressor but I still like hearing the sound of the power of a rifle shot. I would like them to introduce the thermal scope in the future for night hunting or an electric ATV. Kudos to EW team to improve more the game.👍

They could work like hunting stands

Well, to be fair it is easier to practice shooting suppressed than unsuppressed, like at a range.

Straight pull rifle would be cool

If they add a new rifle with the suppressor permanently on it and decrease the range of the rifle, it would essentially be an improved version of the air rifle give or take.

i think suppressors should be only something to reduce the range of animal spooking by 30-50m max so i think that's the best way to balance them

Looks like Ultimate Hunting lit a bit of a fire under them lol. I'm actually surprised that no youtuber has touched on the fact that they released a new game trailer just about at the same time that the latest Ultimate Hunting trailer released. Too bad it's too late as far as I'm concerned because if Ultimate Hunting delivers on the things they have said then the choice is easy from a realism standpoint, which is ultimately the only standpoint that matters for hunting games. I mean do I want to ACTUALLY hunt or do I want a shooting gallery, there is only one right answer for serious people.

After 4-5 shots, had to be a cool down time or the gun won’t be suppressed.

I think after your first shot, the rest of the animals should go alert. And after your second shot, they flee. It would be too OP if none of the animals reacted.

I've been waiting the for suppressors every since the game launched the next thing I've been waiting for is elephants 🐘 we need elephants and maby giraffes and hippos but most definitely elephants

I feel like suppressors are going to ruin some peoples replayability for the game. But in all seriousness we have more guns than we do Multi-Mounts, why can't we get more of those? Or a better UI for scrolling through trophies.

The game would be so much better if we could have an animal that is brown or slightly brown! Oh and then add a deer!!! Deer with slightly different color. It’s cheap and requires no effort to do

As a hunter suppressors are an accessory tool, like a bit to a screwdriver. Questions to ask yourself: Is it necessary for the job I’m about to perform? Is adding this making my firearm more dependable or is it just one more thing that can possibly fail? Is my grouping better with it equipped? Is there less recoil with the added weight? Is there any less muzzle flash in lowlight settings? Am I using less velocity with subsonic ammo, and #1 is my result more ethical? Will adding this help knock down quarry in its tracks? Who am I reducing report for? 🤷‍♂️
