This is the most thought provoking and insightful panel of discussion I have watched. The old men must be brought to the table to counsel the atmosphere. Truly these MPs have failed us. SEE HOW HE SPEAKS WITH PRIDE. Can’t you explain the point without a touch of Pride?

The speaker does not have the power to interpret the Constitution to suit his party. Only the Supreme Court can interpret the Constitution.

Lawyer Nimakoh, the Hansards you referred to is not yet satisfied because Parliament will sit on Tuesday to now make any corrections and ommissions and will then be accepted ny the House of Parliament as a working Hansard on documents for the Thursday's Sitting.

SC interpretations are binding but not stupid orders directing a constitutional body from performing its functions. The SC politics is simply freezing political decisions of the executive and legislature for the benefit of the executive. That's stupidity, which can lead to serious national security issues.

The basic tenet of democracy is that power is obtained from the people. The speaker cannot narrowly interpret the Constitution to gain advantage for his party. Majority in parliament should be obtained through the polls not through a preferential interpretation of the Constitution. If the speaker was unbiased, he could’ve sought interpretation of the Constitution from the Supreme Court before acting. The host is too biased for the discussion. An objective host should not be seen to lean left or right on issues.

Go and read the constitution. You will realize the speaker is the 3rd in command after the president and vice.He has absolute right to rule whatever in parliament based on his discretion

The security must search anyone who goes to the Parliament tomorrow. Some NDC MPs have categorically stated that they are ready to fight any orders and arrangements that they disagree with. It will be either their way or no way. This is a declaration of chaos. The security body should not allow it. They must maintain order.
