I can attest to this. It was easier for me to get out of homelessness, when I was paying $350/month for rent. Anyone working minimum wage could do it.

Nobody is doing that. I can't afford to live in my hometown, so I moved to a place I can afford. I'm all for bursting the housing bubble and reigning in corporate profit inflation, but this isn't about that. Homeless people feel they should get to camp out on public land, littering, stealing, and accosting people, while abusing drugs and alcohol. None of those things are legal and none of them should be tolerated. If you can be homeless without doing those things, then leave those folks alone, but enforce the laws on the others.

You guys care and I care because we are not psychopathic or narcissistic, however sadly most of the people at the top are narcissistic and have many other socially harmful traits as well and I’m just a homeless guy lol. You cannot stop this it’s impossible, just like you cannot stop a star from collapsing in on itself, Jesus is coming back and Satan will have his way till then baby, we are in full collapsing star and black hole mode folks, think think think and you will see, this is the end times there is no repair because no one is going to give up their inch because they don’t have the Love or the source of Love witch is God/Jesus only to get it done, it is impossible to avoid the black hole of the future. I’m with you Jesus baby boy, with all of my worldly and godly intelligence I AM WITH YOU MY LORD. Have mercy on all these people especially the poor and homeless and everyone else even the evil in Jesus name I pray Amen. We are literally in the Singularity of time which is the end times absolutely unavoidable there’s no other way it was going to happen, a Singularity makes sense. Love is the only way to continue this world any longer than Armageddon but people refuse to do it and God knew they would refuse to do this because of the absence of Love in their hearts and it would get more and more Singular and worse until everyone is destitute and the rich have their bunkers and on and on. However you can’t hide from God in a bunker. Think think think really hard put all your thinking together it will click you all know I’m telling you all the truth and I am because I love you all, all humans, all. The problem is that the cost of living has increased 30-50% in some states. If my parents didn’t live in AZ, I’d be homeless, even though I am a teacher, but I don’t make enough to afford a $1500+ a month 1/1. Maybe we need to make it so that the 1%ers don’t get tax breaks and not have to pay a cent!

There’s no housing crisis. To most people since covid feel they should be given free money and a free place to live. You shouldn’t. No one deserves anything outside of what they’ve earned in this life. Be smarter or work harder. Lots of people with mental illness have a house and a job. Lots of people with addictions work and pay for a place to live. I get it a small percent of these people have had amazingly terrible luck and I would like to help them. There’s just too many people content on doing nothing ever and making everyone else take care of them. That’s not fair to anyone to help them and you are just encouraging that lifestyle by hanging of free stuff.

Homelessness is caused by the contiual, never ending devaluation of our currancy which, in turn, is caused by career politicians worried only about not being reelected. We need term limits for all appointed or elected officials at every level. In particlar police chiefs should be elected so that they are not beholden to mayors.

Be proactive instead of reactive. Why are so many people homeless? Listen to their stories and find a pattern. Drugs, cost of living, life choices, what kind of opportunities did life provide and which they lacked, etc. Throwing money into an affordable housing vacuum without any actual follow up or research won't solve anything, but create repeat offenders.

I served 4 years in the Military during the Vietnam War Era followed by Community College with a little help from the GI Bill. I've worked 60-80 hours a week for 50 years. The joke was always that you knew it was lunchtime on Wednesday because you already had 40 hours on you Time Cards (Multiple). I belong to the RTR (Refuse to Reproduce) club and the last year that I worked before retirement I was averaging 70 hours a week. Life is great now and I'm a happily retired debt free homeowner with a substantial investment portfolio. Life is the Hardest and Toughest thing that will ever happen to any of us but luckily it doesn't last forever.
