Never noticed the foreshadowing in the last shot of this clip. It ends with supreme Kai saying “let us hope no one with true power falls prey to his spell.” Then everybody gets a close-up on the swoop down like a team entrance. Except for Vegeta.
not just the diologues, the fillers , the episodes that made no sense but later years we love, the passion the waiting time. you know 5min = 10 seasons type waiting lol. they basically need to make dbs like db or dbz with the bad a s s music and todays animation.
Sorry to burst your bubble but that won't ever happen. A lot of these dialogue bits were added in the English version to fill in what English animators say as dead space in the Japanese version. Most of the dialogue between Frieza and Goku during their fight is the same.
@@chaddixon9764that’s not even relevant. There is no dead space filling dialogue in this scene. It’s literally the kai version. Extremely inline with the Japanese version. He just means characters actually having a conversation with one another instead of acting like over the top caricatures.
that what bull shit if he can read mind way the hell did eh think vegeta could not beat pui pui or goku beat yukon or shcoked goku ahd ssj3 he should knwo all this
In the UK version, Supreme Kai says to Vegeta " it took 4 supreme Kai to defeat Majin Boo, each one 1000 time more powerful than the one you call Frezza" .
so supreme kai's power level is 120 billion.....that's far more than Dabura who is around perfect cell level....why did they need goku and everyone else?
@@monibrahman3141 the same reason why Goku has beaten or found ways to beat people with power levels higher than his. Because Power Levels dont mean shit.
@@DuoMaxwell007nah, that was just an over exaggeration. Someone who is 1000 times stronger than Frieza would be stronger than kid buu,fat buu and super buu (Gohan absorbed) combined. Obviously, that is a lie... The kais aren't even half as strong as buu saga Vegeta and Goku. And I'm talking ssj1 not 2.
I always wondered why people crap on Shin. Shin is the whole reason why the Earth and the rest of the universe were saved. Beerus is the one that should have killed Buu.
It's kinda nice to believe that kais can hear our prayers and thoughts. People always argue about "strength unga" but forget the magic in dragon ball and the mystical part.
You also know. He can hear everything we think about, but people here are unaware, and even us need to remember constantly, for humanity tends to forget. وَرَبُّكَ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُكِنُّ صُدُورُهُمْ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ And thy Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they make known. (28:69) I don't know if the malaika, which the kais would be a representation of, also know this or not... but he for sure does. It's a bit curious how folk religions call his servants "gods" but they can die and are created... so i don't understand how they don't see they are not gods... they are not eternal nor independent...
@@Gabriel-ServantOfGod get this quran western shit out of here dude. You don't understand far eastern religions. You're brainwashed by a book. The Kais are not Malaks. Kai means "world" in Kanji. Angels, or malaks would be like Whis, if you want to adjust the "lore" akin to your abrahamic bs.
@@Nick_0261 Supreme Kai could have been stronger than Zamasu Zamasu is basically what an evil kai would have been like. Now put that strength and cunning and make him stronger than a Super Saiyan 3 at least then you'd have a character that might be able to go toe-to-toe with Frieza even Golden Frieza.
Dragon Ball has a habit of showing a cool power and just never using it again or even mentioning it Him being able to read minds to my knowledge was never shown ever again
@@someguy6152 it’s covered more in dragon ball. Martial arts masters can do it. Shen, Roshi, Kami, and Piccolo all do it to an extent in dragon ball. Tien and Chaotzu do some telepathy too. Goku reading krillin’s mind was meant to show Goku mastered his powers and martial arts upon arrival on namek
That’s not how the universes work. They are multiple universes not a multiverse. A multiverse is infinite copies of the same universe with minor or major alterations. Future Trunks timeline is an example of a multiverse. What we are shown in the tournament of power isn’t a multi verse. It’s just multiple universes. There is no goku or vegeta or trunks in the other universes. Just copies of the planets and races. Not the individual people. Kinda obvious considering goku, vegeta, Broly, Gohan would presumably still be the strongest in whatever universes they were in. Evidenced by the fact they surpass each challenge in time. Since we don’t see any copies of them in the TOP it’s safe to assume they don’t exist. Not to mention Zamasu had to travel to Gokus universe then travel in time in order to be able to take gokus body.
I kinda like that idea. Or maybe just Majin Buu. No Bibidi-- somehow Bibidi screwed up and got himself destroyed by Buu. Any universe that was down to a single being could have this same kind of vibe... "In my previous universe, I killed everything and everyone else. Now I'm here with you. Wanna dance?" As to the other post re: "That's not how this works" -- well, okay, you have a point, but it's still cool to imagine a universe that was down to two beings, one of which had a very shaky hold over the other.
I kind of wished they had mentioned Cell instead of Frieza. Future Trunks easily beat both Frieza and King Cold by himself. I think it would have been more impressive to compare the Kais to Cell, where he could say "Recently we were aware of a creature that you fought named Cell. There were 5 Supreme Kais, and any one of us could have killed Cell at his maximum with a single blow. 4 were defeated by Buu.". I think that would have made the threat of Buu even more terrifying and also made Shin more important in his role as well. Still would have been weaker than the Saiyans, but not as much of a push over.
They couldn't do that because at this point in the show ss2 is the strongest which is comparable to cell. It would mean the Kais could beat ss2 and we wouldn't have gotten all the shocked faces.
@@DagaKotowaru123nah he was more like ssj level, because as soon as goku lifted his arm and threatened kai he moved out the way because he knew he wouldve died
@@d3cayingc0rpse its one of the darkest, most well animated shows that you shouldn't look up on your local library computer or any public computer with the sound on or anyone watching called Bible Noir
@@AnimePlace-FR Lol he is not lying. First off Supreme Kai actually did better against Fat Buu than SSJ2 Gohan did remember? Second Piccolo needed a powered up attack or two just to make it through Babidi's force fields. Even then Babidi did still have enough energy to survive the attack long enough for Buu to heal him. If Babidi were to use his magic against Z Frieza I'm pretty sure he would have become a servant. King Dabura who was far more intelligent, powerful, skilled fell victim to Babidi's magic. So I can't see Frieza at that point faring any better. DBS Frieza is another story obviously. He's not the same as he was back then. While he may still be evil he would not need or want power from someone like Babidi.
@@BrightNights645 Yeah a lot of things don't help, like listening to the hysterics of women when they don't want the school to spank or otherwise discipline their kid. The state should have said "No, if you want your kid to get an education, we get to actually discipline them". Otherwise your kid can just be stupid and have a terrible life. They would comply.
Don't remember this music being in Dragon Ball, but it's not bad. When I hear it and see these scenes, it almost reminds me of video game cutscenes in rpgs.
At this point in the series, killing Frieza in one punch is nothing impressive. Future trunks did it years ago, and every Z fighter (except the humans), have since progressed way, way farther than that. So, by comparing himself to Frieza, Shin unintentionally shows how weak he really is.
I like how, to piccolo, the most ludicrous detail about the enemy is that he’s a wizard. In a world where people can fly and blow up planets from sneezing too hard.
@@marklewis5733 pretty sure 100% freiza is a joke for them as shin never trained nor was worthy to be a supreme kai but had to step in. Grand supreme kai who did train somewhat was moro level who absorbed 300+ planets
@@AbsalonWhiteJr.he’s above frieza yes but to say he could 1 shot him is comical because he couldn’t he was weaker than perfect ssj and I’d say if he fought full power frieza he’d have a pretty tuff time with him
Supreme Kai is an idiot! All he had to do was just read Spopovich and Yamu’s mind to find out where Babidi’s spaceship was. Instead, all he did was just gave Majin Buu half the energy he needed to be revived from Gohan‘s energy🤦🏾♂️
@@chrisYMREvegeta is the second strongest character in the show and Shinnread his mind with ease. Spopovich and Yamu are stronger than the average human but they are still weak. Reading their minds would’ve be light work
y does it most resemble dragon ball, just want to get ur opinion cuz it has always been one of my favorites but i can’t really pinpoint exact reasons for it. also a lot of people think it isn’t objectively that great story telling wise compared to the a cell or frieza saga
"We could've one shot Freeza, but we just choose fucking not to" I mean the Saiyans _were_ pieces of crap, and Freeza is a pretty good leader in the broad sense, so it makes sense why Beerus/Shin didn't kill him.
"His Son...Babidi" ...Wait so they're named Bibidi Babidi Buu? And they were Dark Wizards? surprised there wasn't a magic pumpkin wagon as their choice of transportation.
Bibidi and Babadi were extremely close to killing Beerus through the Supreme Kai. You would think the Angels would get involved with 4 out of 5 Supreme Kais dying to Buu.
Vegeta: "But if you could defeat Frieza so easily, then why didn't you stop his reign of terror he's been inflicting on the galaxy for decades?" Supreme Kai: "Uhh..." Goku: "Maybe he wanted a Saiyan to do it, Vegeta! :D" Supreme Kai: "Yeah, that."
I am glad they at least explain that later that the Supreme Kais almost never interfere in mortal affairs and Frieza was not a threat to the universe, as he only sought to rule it, not destroy it like Buu.
Final form Frieza is who he meant, but he probably couldn't beat Golden Frieza. Even Goku said in that special with Abo and Cado, thatFrieza wasn't much of a foe in hindsight and that 2 people about as strong as he was would be perfect for Goten and Trunks to fight
Kibito would have given Base Gohan a harder time if they fought. Imagine Shin. And Base Gohan was already stronger than the androids and other forms of Cell, seeing how when he transforms, he's able to hold his own against Dabura. And Shin was able to freeze even SS2 Gohan, even if he admitted it was difficult to. Frieza at his maximum wouldn't stand a chance against Shin, before Frieza trained.
The original was Vegeta saying Buu would make a decent Saiyan. That's when SK told him he was wrong, and told him that Buu would have whipped out the entire Saiyan race with a breath. "just like so many others."
