Hi lovelies,
Today I'm trying out yet another new foundation, this time from Suqqu! Will it be the best YET? Or totally skippable?

I am 38 and my skin is pretty "normal" with no dryness or particular oily areas. I do have early signs of aging like fine lines/texture, as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I don't use fake tan, but I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have an olive undertone so my face is often a LOT lighter than my body, because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!

Hi lovelies, so I have a disappointing update for you! This foundation did NOT wear well on me AT ALL. By the 6 hour mark it has all but gone from my chin, was shiny and cakey at the same time and had creased in every line I possess and some I didn't know I possessed...there are definitely better out there at a much lower price point! Xx

Ooher sounds like the Clinique new serum foundation, made the mistake of wearing that one for the first time, on a night out, I didn't feel good but Dita Von Teese was good! Thank you for saving me money and taking one for the team, yet again 😊

So glad you’ve tried a Suqqu foundation. I stock piled the old formulation of the ‘cream’ foundation. It is my HG but I only have one jar left and I’m already sad thinking about it ending. The newer formulations haven’t been as good, or as long lasting as past ones. I was interested in this but think that my time with the brand’s foundations has sadly come to an end.

I love suqqu’s cream foundation, it’s light coverage but it’s my favourite as no matter how dry or oily my skin is it sits nicely on me. I’m somewhat glad this is a disappointment as I dread the price point 😅

Suqqu does good powders , I love the blushes and the eyeshadows ! The brushes are also good ! Foundation is a risk , I didn’t liked the Lisa Eldridge one but at least I got a chance to try it before!

Same with Lisa Eldridge with me. The one I like is... Joan Collins and her eye cream. I can't believe I'm saying that but I bought from QVC and it works on me! QVC stopped stocking it, however, they do have a website

I also love the Cream foundation; it’s beautiful. I’ve seen Bobbie Han’s review of this new foundation, where she compared it side by side with the cream foundation. She wasn’t impressed either and found it drier, without the soft glow of the cream. Hope it works out for you

Oh my gosh. I'm so excited for this one. I've been eyeing this foundation and it's been in and out of my cart. Thank you for helping me decide if its worth it. I love the chanel N1 foundation and will be sticking with it. I am also interested in the new sisley cushion foundation . Their shade range is an embarrassment but the few reviews I have seen has been surprising well received.

Thank you for featuring this new foundation - and saving us the expense and disappointment. I noticed that titanium dioxide was among the first ingredients and though this provides sun protection, it oxidizes. (For some odd reason, most brands are adding this mineral to their foundation.) Thanks again!

Charlotte, I wish you’d tried the cream foundation. It’s absolutely my top three and I’m very particular. I would suggest trying that one instead.

Oooooh, the sharp wing tho 👌 I'm passing on this, I've been leaning more towards the soft matte or natural finish, rather than luminous or dewy - never thought I'd be saying that, but here we are, Tom Ford has a lot to answer to 😂!! I am a SUQQU makeup user for the last 2 years. Charlotte, You and I wear the same shades in other foundations. I always buy shade 35 and I wonder if shades are the same across all their foundations? Little goes a long way and the foundation wears off in a unique way over the day.

I can't wear yellow undertones, so had to choose from the neutral shades. Unique is a very kind word for how it wore on me! 😅😅

@@CharlotteHoldcroft I usually wear neutral tones also. Ive only used SUQQU "The cream foundation". It's in a tub. I bought it from Selfridges online. So hard to pick a shade. The shade matched and that foundation is very nice. I don't think I will try this new one. 🥰

I love Suqqu cream foundation. It always looks great no matter how I apply it. I was able to get The Liquid Foundation sent to me from Japan. I’ve been wearing it since it came out. I guess I’ve had better luck than you. I had it on for about 8 hours and didn’t have your results. It didn’t fade, breakup or look cakey. But, to be honest, I do prefer the cream foundation. Thanks for this review.😊

@@CharlotteHoldcroft yes you do. Your lips are pink and normal. Then after foundation application they are same color. Smothered with a layer of foundation . If im wrong, then check the white balance in your camera

Again, I'm not "putting foundation on my lips". I'm using a large foundation brush to apply foundation, which i want to cover the areas all around my lips, top lip, chin etc. so naturally it gets onto my lips during that process. Its not a problem whatsoever as it I'm applying lipstick after and it can easily be wiped off 👌👌

Ummm if u owned the brush shes using u wld get it lol hands dwn 1 of the best brushes I own. Great for bb creams or light foundations. Of course she has to put foundation under her nose n above her lip. Im like I cant get my eyes off your eyes. Its so funny how we are all so diff lol I am 40 yrs old i dnt think I have ever put foundation on and not got it on my lips lol
