I think for such exams RD and RS won't help that much, especially in maths. For maths you hardly need books if you have good teacher who teaches you tips and techniques and teaches you exam pov subject matter rather than covering syllabus because calculus and matrices as well as functions can get very vast if you don't study according to these things.

SAT, best recommendation letter and few essays you need to write in order to crack MIT. Their is something called AP level exams which in USA students give in high school in order to get acceptance in IVY leaugue. I have some cousins their who have told us this kind of process. I think you need ILETS or Toffle too.

I have done my bachelors and masters from DU in maths so I have studied all foreign author books but those books are shits if teacher won't specify to you what to study and what not. The material never comes from single books I also teach maths. Its bunch of material from different books that makes a person clear all these exams in maths that is true but instead of that focus mainly on theory part as well as all the questions discussed in class other wise it is difficult for even intelligent students to clear such exams.

Sad thing is we only judge our caliber in india on the basis of education. There are children who are participating in dance and singing competitions on national level and appear on National television at a very young age. Those kids have skills and talent and what they are achieving in their lives through their talent is rare and appreciable but majority of indian population won't appreciate their dreams, hardwork, talent. We only appreciate children who do good in field of education. I believe competition is everywhere whether it is neet, jee , upsc or National level dance and singing competitions and those who have interest in their field and have exceptional skills will succeed. And I know every person has something special. Remember cracking neet, jee with air 1 rank is huge achievement but winning trophies and medals in sports competitions and dance competitions and singing competitions etc... etc... and securing 1st position are huge achievements too. All the achievers should be appreciated no matter what field they belong to.
