This gonna sound so stupid, but do you actually know him? Just thought I'd ask just in case you ment it that way. I love watching Vincent play. Helped me in my drumming.
Keep coming back to this - WOW 🎉 God is Beautiful, Jesus is Our Friend, or as my good friend Cornielis says, “God gives us lessins’, and Jesus gives us Blessins’
@@shyamvasam723 so they didn’t dub drums in post? Imma go back and really analyze lol that’s why I want the percussion and drum cams side by side in a video lol
@@FortyEightFiftySixthe album had two drummers in it. Otis did that part. He was the main drummer for NEW THING COMING, WHERE WIND MEETS FIRE and YAHWEH WE LOVE YOU
So good man! I'd like to see how this could be done with just one drummer (no 2nd percussion).. Seems wild... :D Love this song! another great song from elevation!
same here... especially the section starting at 3:35, I would have such a hard time trying to decide either to drop the cymbal swells to keep the snare pattern going, or to drop the snare pattern to open it up with the cymbals... feels incomplete without having both of those elements there
4:12 is that because the track you ran for this video is different from the video recording drum cam. I know there's a second drummer, but i don't hear those cymbal crashes which definitely cut through everything.
trying to learn this one for a sunday, if anyone can help me out in the comments, it'd be much appreciated.. the section starting at 3:33, I'm having such a hard time trying to decide either to drop the cymbal swells to keep the snare pattern going, or to drop the snare pattern to open it up with the cymbals... feels incomplete without having both of those elements there... we're a pretty small team and don't have the luxury of a second percussionist or tracks..
i think i would start with only cymbals and then later add the snare to build up the bridge even more. but try both versions when you rehearse with your worship team to see what supports the song the best.
In-ear monitors (IEMs) were originally developed for musicians and performers to be able to hear themselves on stage without having to rely on traditional stage monitor speakers.
Wait I’m confused… 4:16 you hear the snare drum but he’s not playing what I hear, and neither was Otis when I checked the Auxiliary cam. Is it part of the backing track??
