I just realized that I'm in love with my bestfriend and I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing. It just came out like this, a sudden realization that he's the one I care the most about in a way I couldn't imagine. It was days after I recommended this album to him and he told me he was not technically fond of it. I called him idiot and he called me moron too. It was days after, that I caught him unintentionally humming Freaks and it freaked me out, I realized that he's been listening to it repeatedly and when I confronted him he denied it. At the end of that same day when he was driving me home, he asked me to choose whichever song on his phone and I chose this album. It was a 10 minutes drive but he did a U-turn when we reached my house and took the way back again so we finish the album. Update: I couldn't sleep that night because I was wondering am I the only one who felt that way? Is it real or I was just so lonely I wanted to hold on to anyone who was giving me the minimum of attention. I called him at 3 am-ish but he did not reply and I couldn't sleep. I opened my laptop and wrote a long memo, about everything up to this night and I knew in the morning it will sound stupid, so what I decided was, I'd sleep on it and in the morning if it didn't sound stupid I'd send it. so when I woke up, it sounded hella stupid and emotional and I sent it anyway. I remembered him calling multiple times but I couldn't pick up because I was panicking. He showed up at college ( we go to the same) and told me with a smile that he knows he's cool and good looking (inside joke) but I'd grow out of it, it's just a phase and that he's been through the same in high school and actually wrote me a letter he never sent. I felt like I was late, the same as when you're late to an exam and I failed terribly. I told him timing is a bitch and really wished I'd grow out of it. It's been 2 years and a few months now and I'm still stuck, have not dated anyone, have not liked anyone. Probably it's just too intense to be washed out by time, I keep thinking.
