Surfer Erin Brooks' worst ever wipeout story is wild... A content warning for those who are squeamish when it comes to cuts and blood.
"My biggest scar is probably the one on my head. It's right here. I had to get 15 staples. I got hit by a fin on one of my friend's birthdays. We were all just going out to have fun at like a small little break. One of them fell in front of me and their board went right over my head. I tried to get away but I wasn't quick enough. It was super scary because you're in the Mentawis and we didn't think there was like any great doctors that could help us. We were trying to get out fast because I didn't want it to get infected, but there was a great doctor who stapled me up and now I'm fine."
