Actually all of their devices were ahead of time. Surface pro was a fully capable pc with Intel i5 and full usb and mini dp ports, software windows 8 (apple shamelessly copies now metro design from what I've seen in their shops), even the Microsoft band had the most sensors at its time and allowed to program apps for it
@@Scrappy-RU-vid Dont worry i bought asus flow x13 2023 i really wanted to buy surface book 3 but too many issues but i still think that how much damage can a laptop take if it is dropped.
Quad core CPU with hyper threading and a GTX GPU, it wasn't underpowered for its time, and it's even usable now, hell it's more powerful than some new laptops!
I can see why Microsoft do that as putting the discreet GPU inside the tablet body will use more battery. Putting it on the keyboard alongside an additional battery is a good idea, especially when desktop games works best with keyboard.
Some people called a microsoft surface a hinged company due to their products that has kickstand and detachable screen but look what microsoft did. They inspire other companies with their own versions.
Well surface book solves one major issue for laptop tablets.... You can use it on your lap... All the other tablet laptops comes with a stand which you cannot use it on your lap whatsoever 😢
I have a Book 3, it’s amazing I love it. The fact that it had a dedicated graphics card man gaming on it pretty sweet, it’s also impressive that it has two hd cameras on it… they’re better quality that what most laptops offer including the surface laptop studio. The screen resolution sits right under 4k too so it’s really pixel dense and sharp. Fun fact, you can charge the tablet portion with the charger, does not need to be connected to the base.
Hello, I plan to buy a surface book for university, draw with the surface pen and occasionally play games like Fortnite. Do you recommend me to buy? If so, which one do you recommend? surface book2 15" gtx 1060 or surface book 3 13" gtx 1650?
Does the Nvidia GPU turn off when you detach the screen into tablet mode or what? Then the screens just running off a CPU?! I’m so confused on that bro
You have the processor in the screen, which can function like a gpu. The dedicated gpu is located in the keyboard, if you got the model with it. Meaning if you’re running a game you can’t suddenly disconnect it. If you aren’t you can.
Laptop has a cool tablet concept, too bad the laptop itself is poorly optimized for it. Take it from somone who owns it, battery life is poor, basic apps will use up all of your performance and games run horrible unless you have it constantly charged, then its performance is just meh instead of terrible. You will always have your brightness setting changed constantly (even if it doesn't say it in settings), sometimes your laptop won't detect the keyboard, nor the gpu, and it's ALWAYS running super hot. God forbid your laptop cooler stops working, then its just cooked. Stay away from this product, just buy a normal gaming or work laptop and buy a wacom tablet or ipad.
