I never fished any water as shallow and as clear as this, never used any fish finding gadget, all pure luck and uncertainty. You're lucky to have this type of water and all the big fish there.

Good work Nev. I must say that I've never seen flathead like these ones.. not in my whole life. I know you haunt Western Port in Victoria.. Is that where you're at. I'm in Tasmania and they've just put an embargo on flathead.. the numbers are dropping here. There are plenty of tiny ones so it wont take long to get a few bigger ones again.
