Ok, the whole cover is absolutely amazing, but can we all just take a moment to appreciate the interpretation of the opening verse? Stephen sings as if he's out of breath, as if he's been working so hard that he can barely breathe, and as the song goes on, each breath he does get to take feels even more important as the pressure of the song builds. It's amazing storytelling and a wonderful interpretation that fits so well with Luisa Madrigal's character and her anxieties about the constantly mounting work load while she starts to feel weaker and weaker as the plot progresses.

Finally a male cover which is exactly what I wanted!

I like how this version gives off more of feelings of grief/helplessness while the original is more stress. This is pretty much the audio version of being so stressed it loops back to being calm. Or so pressured you just start feeling empty or trapped. Or a sibling who feels guilty about having their older sibling (sister) handle all of their pressure, so they bottle up their own pressure. But the siblings aren’t carrying the weight together, they’re just juggling separate weight.

God i love this, the emotion you put into this song is beautiful, and keeps the same message while completely changing the tone and hit if the words. it feels like this is less of a explosion of feelings but instead a slow but strong leak, y’know?

LOVE THIS COVER!!!!!!!!!! Love that even for the male voice it's a softer tone which gives it more emotional dept to the words meaning.

Oddly enough, your soft voice doesn't so much as convey that you're the one under pressure, but rather like a younger brother desperately trying to help/keep up with his older sister. Like he was born frail but saw how unfair his sister had it and is trying to not be another burden to her. It's very compelling in it's own way.
