My native home is Mangalore and i have wanted to learn surfing for a long time but had no clue there is a surf school in namma Mangaluru itself. This is gold.Thank you for making this video and letting me know what i was missing. So cool to know i could do this in India instead of spending thousands abroad.

Thanks for sharing that in India also we can enjoy surfing.... I did it in Kuta, Bali... I must say on the 1st day only I did it well. I loved the experience. Yours' was also nice. Only one thing I would like to tell u from my experience that while standing on the surf board stand by keeping one leg on the middle of the board pointing forward and other leg on the backside placing perpendicular to the board, bend your knees a little and hands should be raised a little bend from elbow and pointing forward. This will help to make a good balance on the board. 😀
Yes I try that so much. Can do it on the land while practicing but never on the beach haha. Need loads of practice. Hopefully after coronavirus we all can reset :)

Wow ! So nice to see and hear that there are places in INdia which teaches such sports and they are people who travel all way to learn such things. These are sports and experiences which every Indian should learn and have. Hope such videos encourage people to learn surfing and more such surfing training centres come in all parts of India. Basically India is so rich by water resources that all water activities as sports should be available in decent rates to be learnt and experienced by all INdians.

Watching you surf made me remind a cartoon character from childhood, I don't remember the name. The only water sport activity I've done so far is white water river rafting. And I don't know swimming... So I'm scared of water.
Unless the leash cuts out. It has happened with me that leash broke and board floated away. it was a little panicky situation even though i know swimming very well. So it will be risky for you as a non swimmer. Better to check the quality of leash and stay in shallow waters

I have been wanting to learn surfing but I am very anxious as I am not into fitness, I don't know swimming, and google surf injuries show some real bad ones... It gives me anxiety... Did you know swimming? I know you are fit, because you've been into quite a lot of sports
