I just visited Pipe for the first time every this past Sunday. The first hour out there I was psyched on all the great surf happening...then realized I was watching Sunset Beach. Still stoked and it was incredible to watch the best waves I've ever seen in person.

Dropping off the lip and carving into the valley. Beautiful. Never been to the "Pipe" but I have done the "Wedge" a very, very, small version. But the my trips were more vertical and short lived. That was back in my day mid to late 1960's.
