Koa’s 2017 Wave of the Winter was 100% the deepest barrel ever ridden imo. This one was crazy stretched out though, next level shit trying to maneuver through Seabass’ one. But Koa’s was insanely deep it looks unmakeable from the take off.
I didn’t know what that meant and watched the video…… fucking wow that was amazing. The kid right before him as well with a forgive me if I butcher this, “ triple barrel”? Seeing the guy who n that extremely long one that must feel amazing.
Medina’s first 10pt ride in Cloudbreak is something of a magic. The Camera man takes the shot of the wave thinking he is not coming out but he does. It should be here. It’s somewhat more classic then the backflip in Rio on such a small wave. It was his first full year on the tour. He made semis on that year. Go search for it.
I Love It !! Thx for posting !! That last barrel reminds me of the smaller days when I would practice judging the line, while others would be flipping and twisting. But when the barrels come, who can get the deepest & make it out? That last wave was ridden perfectly. Massive respect.
