Hey mate hats off to to you out there having a go in those temps always like seeing bb content wherever it is we're not all gonna be pro but getting better is just time on board. Love ya stoke for it keep on doing what we all love about bodyboarding. By the way water temp here in 🇦🇺 is 23° so again you got passion mate! Yewwww
Hahah I’m super jealous of those water temps mate 😂 all I do is watch surfing content I must drive the girlfriend crazy 😂. I’ve defiantly got better since lockdown as I had a few years away playing rugby but getting there now. Thanks for the message mate 🤙🏽
Yeah hopefully you score Sunday. I got lucky for literally 20 mins then it started to get really messy again. I love it there though it’s a stunning beach 🤙🏽
I really love your stoke. I am land locked atm. What you do and show can be a great journey for viewers internationally for kings of England . You are doing it, great chit chat. Hard core... it is a bit cold now but in a bit now but I recon you will be ripping soon.
Ahh thanks man appreciate it so much, I’ve just spent a weekend at the bodyboard holidays so hopfully the spin is on its way 👀😂. Thanks for the M Message mate 🤙🏽
By 360. Do you mean a spinner ? I have done them a couple of times . Plus a Drop knee. Spinner. I achieved once ! Good luck with Bodyboarding Holidays venture. I would work there as a Coach if they still wanted me. Thinks here seem to be going quiet and only my cash and morale support. Seems to be needed.
@@RBBodyboarding 2nd Draft . Ok. Well. I have done a Spinner two ways. Once on a very small board which strapped onto my chest. They were selling them at The Pit Surf shop at St. Merryn . ... No. Actually at Constantine. Constantine Bay Stores perhaps had them. Or back in '97 they had strap-ons for sale at The Surf Shop in Constantine . I think if you are a taller rider. Your legs are going to trail behind you a little. The way to do it is to pull yourself forward on your board and centralise your weight. Lift up your feet right out of the water. Bow your spine. There's 2 situations. I pulled a spinner. One was at Constantine. High tide Shore break in about a 6 foot swell. On a short board for bodysurfing that's strapped onto your chest. As the wave was closing out trim up the face, So you run out of speed at the top of the turn. As the lip chucks you out backwards. At the top of the turn. You should be vertical. Whip your legs around and land flat and upright. That's kind of a spin off the lip. . The other way. I did it was in real clean surf at Tolcarne Wedge. Drop in. With plenty of speed and get right out in front of the wave. Go down onto the flats in front of the wave so you are riding along flat. Level water. Pull yourself forward onto your board so your weight is centred. I was travelling left. Had a fair amount of speed. But I was decelerating. Slowing down. I reached out with my left arm and performed a hand drag. Similar to a canoeist back paddling. I was able to whip the board right around. Lost most of my speed but the wave kind of caught up with me. I let myself rise up the wave. Top turned slightly and dropped in again. A smooth manoeuvre ! The surf that day was 6 or 7 foot. And very clean. There was hardly any wind at all. On the flats it was like riding on an oil slick. And it was weird because it went really quiet and peaceful out there on the flats. I had time to look around to see if any babes were watching me from The Beach. (THEY WERE NOT!) Hope th.. My Drop Knee spinner was at the point between Constantine and Booveys bay. Hope that advice helps ! So now you are in with Rob Barber and Company then ? He used to let me change at his old shop for a while when I was The Only Bodyboarder travelling down to Newquay on The Train. I remember how delighted he was when I bought a leash !! I have not been Bodyboarding for at least three years now. I am 44 and ran out of energy at one point. But it's coming back now with better breathing techniques.
Hello mate, just getting into the sport and enjoying your videos. I’ve notice you say surfing but your bodyboarding. Is it classed the same as your riding waves? 🤟
Ah nice mate get on 💪🏽 yeah everyone is surfing as your riding a wave, I say “I’m going for a surf” or “going surfing” but if you want to be technical then it being specific then bodyboarding or going for a boog. Hope that helps mate 🤙🏽
