Really nice vid as usual mate! 🤙🏼 When you 🦆 dive do you put your knee on the back? im learning it but go over sideways when i try. Its the thing i need to do to be confident getting out back.
No I don’t mate, i make sure I’m moving towards the wave, a big thrust down and forwards so that my heads under the water as the wave hits me. Kick hard and as you come to the surface pull yourself towards your board. One thing that I’ve changed is that I do it a little earlier like I said above so that I’m submerged before they wave/white wash hits me. The biggest thing is not panic take your time getting out and sets don’t last long reserve your energy for the lul 🤙🏽

You’re absolutely right mate, so much more speed!! It does take a little more effort on the dive. The board is definitely better for me though. Next weeks vlog will tell all I’m still buzzing😮💨

@@RBBodyboarding Thanks man! Son graduated and needed a new board. We head down to San Clemente a few times a year to surf where I grew up. It’s killer to be in the water with him where I started. Saw you had a run with BBHolidays, heading to Costa Rica in January w/ them for the first time, they all seem like great people! Glad the board works good for ya man, have fun!!
Not much compares to a new sled....the suspense of the arrival of that oblong thin box......looks a quality board that. I have purchased many NMDs from Dave at BBHQ over the years and they are always superb boards and excellent service. Great vid!
