Surfing at Topanga State Beach can be lots of fun in the right conditions. This location is close to LA so it can get a bit crowded from all the surfers in LA looking for a quick fix.
this spot is heavily localized by some guys who go right all day every day surfing the same waves doing the same thing and never leave to go surf lefts so they get the idea that they are amazing and therefore try to punk everyone out for "taking their waves" because they surf there everyday. its easy to surf the same waves over and over and develop a routine especially when surfing the same point all the time. been out there enough to see the same patterns and turns over and over.
