I don't even how you get waves here, that's such a bizarre break. The waves are coming in at an angle that's parallel to the land on the other side of the bridge which makes absolutely no sense. My guess is that it turns on during a west south west swell and the swell enters under the bridge and wraps around? I have no idea lol
@@joe_sauce You ever seen Potato Patch firing? Heard it fires right swell/right time but no one seems to have ever seen it besides the OG Mavericks hitters.
I was surfing there one day, and a guy fishing from the wall caught a shark, and hauled it in right in front of us. I surfed there a lot. It takes a low, slack tide. Occasionally, when it's huge outside, it breaks real nice. But.....there is that rock, right in the take off zone, that you need to miss. I was always watching, expecting somebody to jump off the bridge, but, I never saw that. It's a really spectacular place.
