I'm the guy with the set converted to 128K mp3 cranking it in my car with 15" sub (nothing fancy but quality, clean sound) stopped at a set of traffic lights near the inner city spending the quality time when I am in the mood to forego any semblance of shame and hard soak this electronic brine - quite aware but if you catch my attention with a nod or look of understanding I would be compelled to incorporate a genuine smile. Fuck. Yeah. Seen him live thrice in my 20's. I know it was good but tbh when cooked to perfection I tend to leave the memories at the event for the most part.
I wish there was no strobe, the lighting IS beautiful ,the sounds IS the dogs cobblers but the strobe is alpha and doesn't fit for the start up of the set ,to harsh. I raved decades ago and contemplated never going after the scene started up and its newness wore off, I wish I'd been here, but in your mid-forties I can only dad dance for 5 minutes and I'm a goner,I remember being 18 and dancing so hard all night me and my mates thought we knew it all,wot a day! Surgeon is so strong,and precise thats off to every1 for making a cracking night of it.

Anyone know how how he gets that ghost kick on the 3rd or 4th quarter note from the jomox? Or is it another sound source. How does he add the accents on the kick? Thanks
There´s a video in Schneidersladen in Berlin, or whaterver it´s called, where he explains how much he loves the sound of his Jomox modurlar piece. Probably that´s it.
BSP for sequencer and octotrack he runs the audio thru so he can loop shit. That’s how he makes that one 6u case keep spitting out sounds for days. As I recall he has just a couple oscillators in there. A m303, Loquelic Iteritas, and he uses that cjweiman qmmf (unobtainable module lol) as a voice as well as processing the kick and for general filter duties. It’s for filters in one giant module
the only negative thing in these live sets, that basically the basement of the whole is the same. I hear 2-3 kicks in the whole set and I guess only 2-3 templates were used. After 15 minutes I get bored. However I do respect Sergeon - since the very beginnings.
