I do a different fast tie on method, which is easier. After weaving for almost 50 years, I have learned many short-cuts. It's more than a hobby for me. I many my living weaving for many years. I feel very fortunate. I am 72 and still weaving. People around here still like coming by to see what i have been creating. Keep on teaching.

There are several bush craft channels that go into detail on various knots. Good to know for a variety of purposes, including weaving. Some of them go into hand weaving nets.

I always use the extra knot as you do above because I saw it on one of your videos several years ago. It really does work; however, when I make dish towels now, I use the lashing on technique so I don't waste so much yarn. Both work great for me. Thanks so much for your videos, Kelly, you're the best.
