The last one looks like a good project to get the kids involved since they love playing with playdough, the marzipan will be a good substitute for that and let them make the Lego figures and draw on the face. The adults of course have to watch out and do the double boiler to melt chocolate for the candy pieces to go around the window. If they don't like marzipan like I don't, fondant might be a good alternative also as a playdough substitute. The deep colors is fun but can stain their hands so make sure you spray a tiny amount of cooking spray on their hands when they are working with it.
