While digging in a nicely pebbled area, at about a foot deep, there seemed to be a large rock that needed to be pried up to find shiny. It wasn’t a rock. I thought it was an interesting and unusually shaped wet log. Nope.
@@hoborobprospecting I thought I did LOL. I’ve been charging the phone inside while I’m out on the porch having a battle of wills with the last black dirt.
@@Rob1970s I submitted photos to the Georgia Fossil group. The moderator expert and two other members identified it as a fossil said appears to be a juvenile proboscidean tusk.he requested additional photos. Another said it is likely Ice Age. Several members said it is a stick. I’m awaiting further response from the moderator of that group. Maybe I’ll take it to UGA for a nice day trip. Thanks for watching and for your comment!
@@Gail_H wonderful !!! It's no stick 🤣 LoL I can just tell. My father was a museum collector here in New Zealand. Maori artifacts etc I was brought up prospecting and going along with mum and dad.. I can tell by the weight and shape you have found something very special. GOD bless 🙏❤️✨ from New Zealand 👍
@@inharmonywithearth9982 many say this - and the did, too until it dried out and found other possibilities. Still confirming. I won’t stop until I have a paleontologist examine it in person. 🤷🏼♀️
