🌍 Meet Gail, a dirt-loving adventurer whose childhood dream was to be an archaeologist! Instead, she pursued an education and career in training and HR. She also quietly pursued her passion for archaeology, starting in the Yucatán jungle, on a pyramid. She learned proper digging at the York Archaeological Trust in England. She’s traveled the globe with her family, and explored ancient sites in the Americas, Europe, and the Mediterranean.

👷‍♀️ Gail loves hands-on experience. Besides digging, she’s processed and documented artifacts, such as pottery sherds from a Hopewell mound with Dr. Ken Tankersley. Dr. Hansen is a member of the Institute of Maya Studies, a group discovering new insights to this civilization.
