I talk a lot about small layouts in my videos. I think they’re a great way to get started and hone your skills before moving on to larger, more complex designs. The problem with small layouts is that it can sometimes be difficult to come up with an interesting, realistic track plan, especially if you have an irregular space. This can be even more tricky for the novice modeler.
That was the case for someone who contacted me about three months ago looking for some help with a track plan for a small shelf layout to fit in an odd-shaped spot.
