It would have become slightly better in the last 20 years with the mobile coverage and all but until the 90s a soldiers job involved way too much resolve, grit and sacrifice. That said, I have a lot of respect for SD/PD officers as well.

I can say to you, yes this gets me every time I see it. The love, the shear enthusiasm from the fans sets this on fire 🔥. There is another family the Gamecock South Carolina fans go all they way for as well and like this one will have you in tears . Was 2013 for David Jones and his parents and two sisters. They got that love as well ..
