I lost my mommy 9 years ago to a rare blood disorder. Watching her run and hug her mother made me think of what heaven will be like😭😭😭😭😭😭 ...So beautiful
Yes but you have to think she hasn’t been able to see her mom for a WHOLE year I’ve felt the same way as her daughter because my dad has to go to Iraq for a year
Her mama never should go away. Make love not war👍🙏 the government don't care about your life. They don't care about right or wrong. Dear soldier mama. Get a honorful job and never leave your family again. Sorry for my bad english
If you looked really close you could see it in her eyes as she sang. There was a soft look to it. She was singing about spending Christmas with the ones she loved and she knew there was one she was missing. What a truly beautiful video to see her have that missing piece given back to her.
You can also tell that she's resigned to it. It's been a year. A year of missed occasions. Mother's Day, whenever her birthday is, Thanksgiving, and just the daily life of her mom being around. She's passed the point of tears for her mom being gone, and is stuck on resigned sadness. Singing about something that is painful to her, but the tears don't come because they've dried up by now. When the lady started talking about a soldier being gone for a year and coming home, she didn't react. There was no anticipation there...nothing until she heard her name.
@@Imbukhu + Whatever various governments rhetoric or spin, these people are just following orders and doing a job - usually to clean up somebody elses mess. There cannot be oil in all of the places allied forces have to go to ! Perhaps a solution might be for locals to take action against the radicals and dictators in their own countries instead of getting on the 'refugee train' (or boat) and leaving the mess for others to deal with. I notice lots of able bodied men among those fleeing in so much media footage.
I was there in the audience when this happened. My cousins were in the program and I don't think any of us saw that coming! It was so moving! There were a lot of tears. ❤️
Hello, it's quite a while ago, do you remember the name of that beautiful Christmas song the school choir sang just before the soldier mother surprised her daughter? Thank you & best wishes. . .
Right?? Like dang, their tone and pitch is on point and the expressions are flawless. They enunciated correctly and kept their consonants and breaths together- I was very impressed
Brian Anderson I agree but sometimes...It's inevitable. If a country is torturing it's people someone has to do something about it. Like what happened to the Yezedi women being raped and tortured. I don't like war and I don't like when we are in the wrong...but I am happy when we save the innocent.
@@marysunshine2027 your deluded if you think that they are saving innocent ppl, they only go to war for oil and other shit. Biggest hypocrites in the world.

We are protecting nothing except America’s self indulgent and false “right” to have free access to the worlds resources and slave labour. All this to maintain a standard of living that consumes 80% of the worlds resources for only a fraction of the world’s population. Want the facts? Research global production rates of various commodities and where they are shipped to.

@@marysunshine2027 and go kill much more than what the natives would have done. US must stop playing "God" and let people be. Can any US citizen today justify what happened in Vietnam. 2 million Vietnamese and 60 thousands brave Americans were killed for the political greed and for the business interests of the military industrial complex. Whole country took 3 decades of suffering to come back to life. Same is happening in Iraq, Afghanistan and rest of the middle East. Every intervention or stated objective has failed. Saddam was an US creation, Osama was a US creation, Taliban was a US creation. I am sure intentions were not so wicked but look at the end result. Please understand that these countries have the ability to balance itself. US us a beautiful and powerful country let it go on showing the world a direction towards peace not destruction of biblical proportions.
We don’t have Christmas ones but we have an elementary choir and it’s.. ok but we do one in Vacation bible school and I’m in the 5th and 6th together and just roast all the little kids because well we’re older we can dance better and sing better it’s sad.
@Jim Palmer ;All in the America military play a part in keeping the greatest country on earth safe from diabolically evil people who blow up schools children for kicks. If she does her job with due diligence she is surely worthy of respect. Certainly more worthy of respect than you.
Very touching story. I was moved to tears. My mother died 2007. I won't be finding her under the Christmas tree , but she lives on in my ♥ heart. The choir was awesome
Я получил рекомендацию этого видео.. просто так.. Ставлю Дизлайк - мать не должна была бросать своего ребёнка на 4 года, отправившись на другой край Земли для продвижения "демократии" USA edition
Nikita Lomas lmao, im a soldier kid who’s has a moment like this and i was generally confused because normally my after school program thing would have it later. so i was like: “wtf is it bRo, I’m tryna read a Minecraft book with my m8 here.”
I can't resist these soldier surprise homecoming videos. Watch all of them I can find. But this one is one of the best ever. The joy in the mother's face, the love that child has for her. And that amazing choir! Wow. Thank you to all the men and women serving, and who have served. KAG!
As the son of a veteran, this always brings tears to my eyes. My dad missed many holidays and birthdays. He would always find a way to call. However, his homecomings were always so special to us.
3:56 i really like the fact that the young woman third row up, far right is listening, thinking and then figures out who is getting the surprise, and then is legit happy for her
@Mikael Wow!! Aren't you an ungrateful idiot! You don't deserve the freedom you have. Maybe our soldiers should use people like you as shields and maybe, just maybe you'll learn to appreciate the job that they selflessly go out fighting for. And to think they risk their lives so morons like you can take everything for granted and treat them disrespectfully.
@@thelifeofnikkimarie9445 your "freedom" gets threatened every time the elite needs a war to gain financially and you're so eager to jump into that trap. Fathers brothers sons mothers and daughters husbands and wives coming back home in body bags. All for the elite.
@@thelifeofnikkimarie9445 In 231 years.. America has been in war, 219 times. You don't even know what freedom means. These soldiers are not going to war because of your freedom. It's politicians who tell you that it has to be war for whatever reason ..they tell you what suites there needs. To be honest. Soldiers are (if you want to name it) idiots for leaving their family behind and risk that their children have to grow up with no parents. I feel sorry for people like you who think there are fighting for the good.
They just fight for nothing it just gets worse when US joins so many wars and then they never end. The soliders are only doing tghis for the big money.
What a wonderful surprise to have her mother home after more than one year, at an age when she needs her the most. Thanks for your service and happy reunion
Im a 44 year old man. I am a disabled combat vet. 2 tours. And I just shed a tear. Reminds me of the times I was away from my family. GOD BLESS THE MILITARY and GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA 🇺🇸
I honour your service, sir. My brother was also in the military, and he surprised me once. I truly respect every marine and veteran out there for fighting for our country 🇺🇸
@@itzsiver Yes it did, I don't care if you are a man or woman in the United States Military. Yes sure she is protecting her daughters freedom, providing for her, and protecting your freedom. But I care more about the sacrifices that she made along with the sacrifices that all service men and women for the US has made. I respect the mother and fathers who work and provide for their families. But in this instance I care more about what she is protecting. Her daughters freedom, your freedom, and my freedom.
If the yanks would stop invading countries and stealing oil or overthrowing government you don't like then this little girl wouldn't have to miss her mum , but of course that's what you yanks do along with your best friends the Brits.
I’m 77 years old and I cry every time I see a reunion such as this. God bless our military men and women. Thanks for all you do and for all your sacrifices.
Only if you have a good mom. Be thankful for yours. Remember not everyone has had that in there life. I have no idea what a loving hug from a mother feels like. Sadly, my mother is still living. She doesn’t have many days left and is STILL a bitter, angry and mean woman. I’m my 30’s I tried desperately to create a relationship w her. After failing so badly, I asked her what it would take to earn her love. She told me to get used to real life already. In real life ppl don’t love you just bc you want them too. She’s not spoken to me in 10 years now. I have 9 siblings… she’s birthed 10 children and she hates us all. Me the most, but she hates us all.
At 4:33 the mom says “it’s ok, don’t cry” I’m just over here bawling my eyes out and it’s not even my mom, not my reunion, don’t even know these people.
I sob like a baby at every soldier's homecoming it's so beautiful to witness and reminder of the sacrifices that our soldiers make so when you're out in public and you see a veteran shake their hand
Every soldiers homecoming makes me so glad my dad made the decision to wait until he left the military before he had kids. I couldn’t put a child through this
It feels so wonderful when you can wrap your arms around a Father, Mother, Brother, or Sister who has been away for so long. I loved being able to hug my brother when he can home after an 18 month deployment 😍

@@bettydodson4932 Thank you too. I'm now 67. I remember my days in the submarine service in the early 80's fondly. The video was touching to me because it was a reminder of what my purpose was then and the family I missed. I watch this video occasionally to make sure of that.
@George Makedon Why would women join wars in the past, when they were literally barred from the military in most places? I say that men and women should do what they want with their lives and not confine themselves to outdated and irrational social obligations, based on their gender. If women want to work, then they can work. If men want to stay at home with the kids, then they can stay at home with the kids. If women want to stay at home with the kids, then they can. If men want to work, then they can work.
@George Makedon You do not even have evidence that your god is real. Buddy, you are basing your beliefs off of unproven superstitions and expecting the entire world to blindly follow along. Do you not see the flaw in that reasoning?
@George Makedon I am agnostic. And there is nothing in nature which dictates that men and women are bound to certain social obligations. There are natural tendencies but nothing close to natural absolutes. And even if that were the case, which it is not, arguing from nature to justify tradition is fallacious.
How does a girl that age have a mom in the military. I'd be wanting to raise my kid. My Son was a 11 months old when I got home from Nam. I derosed because I had enough time in. Didn't want to think of leaving him. Everybody's different I guess.
@Avacgo I truly feel so sad for people such as yourself. You have to be a very brave and strong person. I really hope that all will be well for you and your family. Have a MERRY and BEAUTIFULL Christmas.
@Izzobee no they don’t. They make the choice to serve in the army nobody makes them. My dad waited until he left the army until he started a family. I thank him every day for that. How any parent can put their child through this is unbelievable. A child needs their parents with them, not fighting government wars overseas
@@joeseay2883 a false sense of duty. I notice Americans hold their military to a god like status for a job they CHOOSE to do. Here if you serve in the military that’s great but it’s recognised that none made you do it. I could never leave a child like this and risk getting myself killed for what?
@Izzobee I'm so sorry about your Mom having to deploy. I imagine it hurts worse than anything. I'm sure she is sad too, more than you know. I'm glad you had Christmas together. It was probably really. Special this year. I'm guessing she is gone now since it is March. Blow her a kiss on the wind every day. The wind will blow it around the world to her. You know what I REALLY like about this video? Watch all the girls around her and how excited and happy they are FOR her. Nothing in it for them but experiencing joy for someone else.
The singing almost got me crying because of how beautiful it was but that mother, daughter renewal got me feeling like 1000000000000 onions were being cut
@@samanthacovey9012 Oh good. because so many children in this country come from broken homes, and don't have both parents living together, and don't even have any parents. So it's good to hear that this entire group of children is better off than all the other children and they all have 2 parents at home. Thanks for clearing that up for me. @@dellonman It's hard to tell sometimes, you really gotta be around that glass from the beginning, ya know? Whether a glass is half empty or half full really depends on if that glass was full or empty to begin with. Like if it's empty, and you fill it half way up, or vice versa. What does flipping it do? Spill it? Or do you try to go fast enough where you land it perfectly upside down still holding the half volume of liquid?
My hats off to not only the soldiers but their families as well for they also sacrifice many things when their loved ones are serving our country. Thank you all for your service. 🇺🇸

I am 6'2 350...shaved head with tats....and yes...I am tearing up....this will NEVER, EVER get old. We all saw the look on that young lady's face when she realized mom is home.
My mom served overseas in Afghanistan for 7 months, and let me tell you, that first hug is one that you never want to let go of. I can see the same thing in her daughter, you’ve been apart so long, that all you want is to hold on and never let go, because you are still processing that they are actually there and they aren’t going anywhere.
