I don't like the spotlight on me and did NOT want a wedding though my husband did because he has a huge family. My cousin's boyfriend proposed to her at my wedding after the bouquet toss. I had ZERO problem with it.
I love these videos, in which the bride is about to toss the bouquet -- or so everyone thinks -- and she turns around, walks up to one of her bridesmaids, and hands it to her. Then the bridesmaid gets uncomfortable, turns around, and there is her boyfriend, on one knee, with a ring. I SO WANT TO DO THAT AT MY SECOND WEDDING!

So why not propose right away and be happy about people being in love and finding their true match! Spread the love! Weddings are known as match makers! 2. All the family and friends might be around already, so the bride to be has dear people with her to feel happy about this life changing moment. 3. Imagine someone getting a heart attack or other bad things happening. Instead of that you help create meaningful life!
@@valek7700 I agreee. the bouquet throwing part of a wedding is kinda like passing the olympic torch. It’s the bride’s happy day, and she chooses to pass that happiness to her best friend and I think that’s really touching.
@@valek7700 As long as permission is given by the couple it’s fine. No permission and you’re just an asshole. YOU may think it’s a day of general love and that’s fine for you, but for many, they spend thousands to celebrate THEIR love and each couple has a right to make the day about them if they want to. That should be and is the default. Thus the need for permission. Personally, I think proposing at a wedding is super unimaginative, tacky, and too public, but that’s just me. It’d want a super intimate, private and thought out proposal so we could have a day to ourselves instead of sharing that day. But again, that’s just me.
Doing this at your own wedding shows how unselfish you are and just brings more joy to your own event with nothing but happy memories! Thank you for not being so self absorbed! It's refreshing to see it!

I don't see what the big deal is. Everyone that attend the wedding should love one another on some level. They should be happy to share in each others happiness.

@@IKayIRin I’m with you on this one. I think it’s super tacky. And no one is doing it at my wedding nor will I be doing it at another’s wedding. People pay a lot of money for there to be a day about them, so they should get that day to celebrate their love. If the bride and groom okay it, I wouldn’t be mad, but I’d still think it was hella unimpressive. The petty person in me loved this comment from someone else: “If someone proposes at my wedding, I’m announcing my pregnancy at theirs.” 😂 Touché lol
Awesome another bride who doesn't mind sharing her bid dad with a girl friend for this proposal. What a special friend to share her day. I love when a woman isn't scared and is secure with her self to know that this day is hers, and helps to set up her friend to share it with. This is truly special indeed.

Im so happy for all of these Happy People! We had not a forced but we wanted my Granny to see us engaged before she passed! It all happened quickly after we made thing official to begin with! However, it is just about ten years later and still not married! I know he Loves me, but I couldn’t imagine being made to feel so special and Loved!💞🥺
