I subscribed this morning after watching an interview you did on Every man has a story, watched about 6 videos or so. I enjoy the ride alongs a lot, I miss riding, It's been about 30 years now since I rode.
Looks great! What is your thought on an ADV 350 compared to this besides the size? I need a nice scooter, and im over 6 ' tall. Thank you for your info and vlogs!
I’d love an ADV 350 but they aren’t available here. I have an Yamaha XMAX 300 which is great 👍 I’m 5’10 and i can dangle my legs freely when i’m riding if i want to stretch and it has a comfortable seat and foot position. I’ve upgraded the rear shocks which helps but it doesn’t have the clearance of the ADV so i’d be hesitant to use it on rough roads. NMAX 155 was the same. The ADV 160 is a sweet bike, light, handles well, better suspension and tyres and post fitting a JVT CVT drive upgrade it really is much more responsive down low where i need it to be. Top speed peaks at 108 which is still plenty. So depending on your location you can choose what suits you 🙏
Have you done any mods to the Click? I plan on picking one up when I move to my house in Bohol soon. I'm thinking about upgrading the shocks for sure. It may not need a CVT mod. They are pretty fast as is.
I haven’t changed the cvt drive on the Click 160, as you noted they are fast enough standard. I got 120 out of it the other day along a flat highway. I put driving lights on it as the standard lights aren’t very hood and of course i put a set of super loud horns on it. Rear shocker cover and some bling bits and a rack and box. Grest bike!!! love it
So what’s the difference between the Click and the ADV? I think there’s a PCX 160 too? I was considering the ADV with ABS, please let me know your thoughts
Hi, Well the click is lighter and as quick ( power to weight ratio) but lacks the suspension and tyres of the ADV and the ABS. The PCX has the same 160 motor with 4 valves per cylinder but lacks the suspension and tyres of the ADV so not as good off road. The clicks light weight makes off roading easier but still has limited ground clearance, hope this helps ?
Last stupid question, I’m 6’2 325lb, will the ADV be ok for around town? I’m going to be over for a few months and would buy it for a ride instead of renting as a cheap option.Ultimately I’d buy a bigger bike or 300 and a truck but looking to just get a ride now. Could I upgrade shocks? Let me know what you think or should I just get the 300
@@JT-mf3dm The ADV is fine around town, out on the highway and on rough roads as it’s designed as an adventure scooter with the longer shocks and better tyres. As it’s a little higher than say an NMAX you may want to consider mobility and ease of getting on and off as it’s higher given your height and weight. When you get here i’m happy to let you sit on my 300 and the ADV plus the NMAX so you can compare before you buy 👍
