Do you remember Cilla Black's 'Surprise! Surprise!'?
In our video today we give the most wonderful surprise to some loyal fans! Set up with the help of their son Colin Leggo, a fellow Cornish RU-vidr, we arrange to surprise George and Ginny.
A few years ago, George was taken seriously ill and was unable to walk. With much determination and a cast iron will, he now walks with crutches. They are not able to walk like they used to and contacted us to say how much they enjoy our channel. Their favourite walk is Gyllyngvase to Swanpool, along the coast path.
We thought it would be a nice idea if we could film this for them, add a guided walk too and then spring the surprise! But it doesn't all go to plan...

Music from the Copyright Free audio library on RU-vid: 'Barnyard Surprise' By The Whole Other
The standard description bit…
We are Sarah and Andrew and we film our walks around Cornwall and publish on RU-vid, usually weekly. Occasionally we stay in accommodation in Cornwall and upload our vlog. Sarah is fascinated by sea glass and like to collect it, so there may be the occasional sea glass centric video! The channel is a hobby and we both have normal day jobs!
Frequency asked questions:
What camera do we use?
Since December 2018 we have used: Canon Powershot G7x MkII
How do I find the books you use?
Most are still in print although some we pick up in charity shops and may be available on Amazon secondhand. Please refer to the video for the titles. Every video shows the book three times. Sorry but we can’t put a link in every description.
Best time of year to visit Cornwall?
We love May, June for flora and fauna, July and September for spectacular scenery.

You have found a super nice place for your hike. I love Cornwall with its small bays, the villages and the sea. The Schwansee is an insider tip. I've only seen half of the video and I'm already looking forward to the second part tomorrow morning. For your navigation you urgently need "Komoot" this is a hiking navigation program I will email you a free trial subscription tonight because you can plan something and then let it navigate. stay healthy Greetings Günter

We so love this place. My wife spent so much of her childhood there at her grandmother's. We make sure to visit when we're down there. Gyllyngvase is my favourite place and the gardens are amazing.

What a lovely surprise for a lovely couple.Another very enjoyable video in splendid weather for September. It is such a shame that we have to have so many new builds here in the most beautiful parts of our glorious County, no wonder you were lost. I love Elizabeth Gardens, so very well kept and so very tranquil. Falmouth, has a lot of interest & the beaches are the cream on the top. Thank you.

I love a surprise! How lovely for them to meet you both. Sorry that a lot of it turned out to be a ''housing estate' walk though! When you did hit the beach, they are really pretty....I've not been to that part of Falmouth before. Poor old Andrew ''really enjoying this walk''! Nothing worse than getting lost and not knowing which way to turn. I once went on a Heron finding walk....the largest Heronry in UK and got completely lost in the woods with dusk settling in...no compass, no map, no nothing....not even a blinking Heron in sight! I'm glad you met up with some of your fans...and you do have a lot, you two, all of them green with envy that you live in such a spectacular part of our country.....J x

Love your Chanel and vicariously going on walks I’ll never be able to do any more but, as you mentioned recently they’re Not just ordinary ads which I don’t mind at all, as you’ll hopefully get some small payback from them but, the first ad break today was over three mins and within same break a second ad for nearly twenty mins. I did skip second one ! Thanks so much though for all your lovely walks and humour too.

Actually lived in Falmouth for years and never recognized that route from lake to Maenporth as must be new. If you had walked another 400m past end of lake through the lane then take first left up the hill, that lane would have taken you to the main road to Maenporth...but all road though...

Very enjoyable video :-) And it still looks like summer! :-) Here we have experienced a little below zero in the early morning the last few days. It is a bit icy and slippery on the pavements, and people have to remove ice from the windshields of their cars. So I very much appreciated this video :) And it is always great to see you two :)
