I've said this before and I'll say it again. While I am an atheist, if I am ever in Halifax, I would love to stop by your church, Rev. Ed. Not because I'm looking for someone to tell me what "god" thinks I should do (like this false profit you speak of...and the misspelling is intentional), but because you seem like a person who is doing good in the name of your faith. Your flock (if CWW is any indication) strikes me as the same sort. I would never want to stop by a mega-church that held up Trump as a "messenger of god."

I am an Agnostic Atheist but I look forward to watching your video's Rev. I appreciate those that speak the word and do not force the word and do not judge. I can not stand false prophets and get so upset when people keep following false prophets. It upsets me that so many "Christians" are worshiping Trump as the "Second Coming" not realizing or willingly disobeying their own bible about not worshipping someone over God.

When people talk about using the Lord's name in vain I always think of this type of person. It's so much worse than what people typically mean and to me it's more accurate. They are using teh Lord's name not for his glory but for their own vanity and that hurts people far more.

It is telling that the strongest reaction I have seen from you is over the spreading of false prophesies. No doubt to the harm that false prophets can cause. If a singular person turns away from the possibility of accepting Christ: the price of the deception is too high.

Donald has NEVER read a word of the bible. He famously went up to a pastor who after reading the gospel where Jesus teaches to "turn the other cheek"- Trump went up and asked "where did you get those LIBERAL talking points?" For real, this happened. The guy who can't shut the f up to literally save his life- when asked "what is your favorite bible quote?" He always replies, "it's private." Can't name one verse, even the shortest one: "Jesus wept." that phrase seems appropriate when it comes to the cult of Donald Trump. I am not Christian but I really and truly do enjoy your channel, I believe all religions have deeper wisdom to teach us. THANK You for what you do.

Walking around town you will eventually run into some poor people who are mentally ill spouting nonsense. When my kids were small, I told them to be respectful of the humanity of people down on their luck like that, but to not engage them in serious conversation. To be blunt, they are crazy. Nothing good will come out of a dialogue with them. Best to politely nod and keep walking. It is not a great feeling when you have to do that with the 'neighbourhood bum" but alarming when it is with a person of influence. (At least the crazies on the street have a genuine excuse and can be somewhat lovable at times.)

Given the sheer number of dire prophecies by fear-mongering or profit- hungry “prophets” over the years, absolutely none of which have ever come to pass, you’d think people would by now figure out the con.

While I, as an evil atheist, am gleeful that this falphet got something else wrong, I doubt he will ever acknowledge this. He will probably double down on this and insist that God will make Jim Jordan speaker of the house. The other, less likely probability is that he will quietly ignore that his "prophecy" was wrong. This is how I have seen the Shane Vaughns, Hank Kunnemans, and Johnny Enlows react to their prophecies being wrong.

Good morning Reverend! As someone who's been transitioning from agnosticism to a strange combination of apatheism and Christian Modernism the last few years, I feel like part of my timeline of experiences does line up with your central concern here. Looking back at some of the content I watched 10 years ago, I frequented atheist content that usually focused against young earth creationism and the most fundamentalist out of touch takes from the most fundamentalist people they could find. The obvious parallel here is how this likely affected my perception on Christianity despite me already knowing that "not all Christians" were like that even at the time. What actually changed a lot of my perception was coming across a bible study group whose leader was once a staunch atheist while the group is still really good friends with a very outspoken apostate (who himself still attends the bible studies at times too). To this day, I currently attend this group learning more about the bible while I have since set a personal goal to follow Jesus as best as I can after enduring my own journey of loss, letting go of my pride, and finding true happiness through that. Interestingly, I still even watch more mild mannered atheist channels to this day as I feel that their value of epistemic humility (instead of simply "dunking" on fundamentalists) interestingly coincides much better with the "fear of God" than the standard fundamentalist views while their humanist philosophies feels more "Christlike" than those same fundamentalists. Anyway, I just felt like sharing and again wanted to thank you for what you do here.

If you always seek truth you will find it. But with so much false noise around you have to pray constantly for truth and be prepared for social rejection when others prefer opinion over truth. One of our duties as Christians is to cling to truth.

How these ministers can be so blind? Not just Professor Toto, but countless others. You would think God would be shaking them in their sleep to wake up. I think there are a lot of people with big empty spaces inside them and are searching for something and sadly some people get caught up by false prophets and cults and cult-like groups. While others are filled with fear and hate and want someone to reflect back and agree with them. God bless you Rev. You mentioned that these false prophets need to be silenced, but I didn't hear how or if you said that would be done. By society? God? karma? Anyone have an idea? Nice to have kind atheists and agnostics in the comments. Very refreshing!

I think its important for these people to be seen. Folks actually bringing your message of love have nothing to fear fro these people. The need to be seen and shown for the evil that they are. They need to be seen so people looking for hope learn that they are not to be turned to but turned from. The media who talk about them should bring up these thingsand stop both sidesingbecaus there is no benefit in hate and fear. They need to be made example of as a warning.
