Mum, Jade-Marie here! I feel our little family is super special as not only was I told I could not have children, and then had my beautiful Dawn-louise, I was told my daughter having half a heart (Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, a terminal CHD (Congenital heart defect) meant she wouldn’t live a long and happy life, well, these vlogs go to show how strong a heart warrior she really is!

You really shouldn’t apologise Jade Marie for lack of vlogs. Your lives are challenging enough with everything you have to face and cope with , as well as the day to day house issues you have to encounter too. I can only admire you in your determination, attitude and approach to the constant hurdles you face all the time and now, you certainly are having to navigate your way through the main stream education system that doesn’t help with children that have health and other issues. Emotionally you all must be very tired as you strive to live each day in the best way you can. However your fighting spirit always shines through, like mother, like daughter and you are both a wonderful example to us all. The Girl Guiding video is brilliant and really sums up Dawn - Louise’s spirit and attitude. Well Done. Thank You for sharing

Hey Clive! Hope you’ve been well! I do feel a little like i’ve let people down when they have got excited for videos and we go radio silent for so long, I’m extremely thankful to have such a supportive and understanding community here. Emotionally yes, I have really felt the weight of everything since 2020 hit me as life has got a bit calmer over the last two years, but thankful for everything I have, and that most of the struggles we’re facing wont last forever. We have had so many disheartening battles since Dawn-louise started secondary school, and although we now have just two more years left, it has not gotten any easier, the grand ablism and lack of education on her condition throughout the school has caused so much added stress on our lives, especially for Dawn-louise, so I’m thankful we are building back up a life outside of school that gives Dawn-louise something to look forward to at the end of the day. Thank you so much! She worked so hard to come up with the concept, direction and editing for her submission video all whilst not being in the best of heath, I’m so excited to take her to London for the first time this month for her training to be part of the team and hopefully, you’ll see lots of Dawn-louise over the various GirlGuiding pages :) Thank you as always

@@ArcherAdventures Jade - Marie you certainly never let anyone down, it’s always so lovely to see your vlogs as natural care for everything Dawn - Louise, you and your family are constantly dealing with in your lives, means that we want to know all is well and you are enjoying your lives and coping with everything.. Your strength and positivity is amazing . Great to hear that you are building future life outside school that Dawn - Louise can look forward to and aim for.
