Great video! Idea- cheese freezes just fine. Usually blocks are cheaper than shredded. Plus there are additives added to shredded you may not want. Also- some like their chili with rice. For your get together you could cook up cheap rice and people could add it to their chili bowls? And include beans in your chili too? Also- let people bring stuff to add to the meal if they want to? Like desserts and salads? I know you want to do it all. Sometimes the best gift is to allow others to give and contribute. Recently my church welcomed a new children’s programming associate pastor with a potluck versus a catered meal. It was a big big success and felt so much like a big family get together with everyone bringing their specialty. Just a thought? God bless! 🙏❤️

I started downloading the kroger digital coupons and last week I saved a little over $39. Thank you for showing us how to do this. It has been so helpful being able to save that money for something else. And I earn the fuel points to boot, which really came in handy because I had to travel out of state for a memorial service. I'm so excited to continue saving this way. Especially since I have just recently adopted a child. It really helps.

I think it’s awesome that you’re putting what’s left at the end of the months (except this one) towards the outdoor kitchen. Have you mentioned lately how much you’ve been able to divert and I’ve missed it? Our family loves great deals so we have fun watching all your videos but especially the shopping hauls. Generally we don’t shop at the higher price grocery stores unless there’s a super deal. Today Giant had BS chicken breasts, regular price $5.99 lb, with digital coupon, it was $1.67. The produce department marked some pkgs as filets so the manager had to fix mine and gave me another discount. We ended up paying $1.40 lb. Happy 💃
I just went to Aldi today. I grabbed those potatoes and apples too! And I got some bread that was marked half off. Love it when I find those stickers on the products.

I keep cream cheese, butter, and large quantities of cheddar. Parmesan, and other hard cheese in the freezer. I thaw it to use as needed. I e never noticed any texture issues.

Janice, Because of your video I saw the cream cheese for .99 cents at our local Kroger and they were out. I asked if they would substitute and they did with the Kroger 2 pk. So you had to buy 5, which means I got 10 packs of cream cheese for $4.95 😮
Another great sale on one of our favorite cereals! I haven’t seen such a great sale on eggs lately, either! I’m glad you mentioned checking the special pricing on produce that you can find if you are willing to use it right away! The stores do have to watch their “sell by” dates and since we enjoy all kinds of produce, we look for this a lot, especially when our garden stops producing. My two favorite things in this video are: Noticing that your autumn tablecloth is very similar to ours! And two, feeling so happy that dad will have some chocolates for his birthday, paid for by a very kind and thoughtful daughter!

We are a hour from the grocery store, normally we go once a month or every couple months, however my son broke his ankle and we have had to make the trip weekly for now and hit a few of the sales , normally because of our fuel prices( at least a dollar more then where you are) and the distance we don’t get to take advantage of some of these

Yay Anne!!! Congratulations on your newest blessing! Rebekah is still wearing diapers, but she is getting so much better about happily going to the potty AND she's usually dry in the morning when she wakes up. I think we're finally getting somewhere with potty training! :)
I only use cloth diapers when my babies are 100% breast fed. Once they start transitioning to table food, I also transition to disposable diapers. So, Rebekah has been in disposables for quite a while now! I had a stockpile of diapers here, so I haven't bought any in many, many months. I'm hoping that I don't have to buy anymore and she'll be fully potty trained by the time I wipe out my stash that I have. :)
