Imagine some bloke from capita taking the ferry to the Highlands and Islands, turning up at a remote crofters place and being told to jump in the nearest bog!
Exactly what happened to us. Came over on the ferry, rattled all the way down our farm track (probably wrecked her car) and the wife simply blanked her and shut the door on in her face. Caught it on the CCTV, her opening line was "you'll never believe what happened" hoping to draw the wife into a conversation. When she was left standing on the patio, the goon looked distraught. We've nothing to hide, they are welcome anytime but next visit, come in a 4x4.
An important question if you ghost them in England/Wales will they not be able to gain enough evidence for a search warrant if you also don't say anything to them just close the door in their face or don't open it in the first place? (using Ring camera to find out who it is).
@@BedsitBobyes there are search warrants. TVL fabricated evidence and gained entry to my property. FOI will show a warrant was gained and used in June 2018, first day of the world cup.
I have seen an FOI with The Scottish Government and covering the period, 2013/14 to 2017/2018 they show 60 convictions. There are also non court disposals, a step before prosecution and the “offender” can pay between £50 and £300 (typically about £75). The number of non court disposals over the same period is over 40,000.
If you have never been up here in the Scottish highlands, you will love it mate. God's back garden, and we welcome foreigners with open arms (although it seems weird calling a fellow Brit a foreigner 😅)
I am Scottish I live in Hamilton South Lanarkshire at this point in time originally from Elderslie Renfrewshire. I would always of sead Yorkshire is Gods back Garden personally.
@@alanfox691 Forty plus years ago the Sheltered Housing Complex which i worked on was built on the Paisley Roadside and an elderly couple would come by and ask when it would be finished as i was the GF i would give them an near date and we started talking they said the higher ground behind the Scheme was,had been William Wallaces Home,so one sunny lunchtime i walked up there and it was a flattish hilltop with lumps and bumps in and i thought it was possibly a fortified Homestead.I got in touch with the Council Archaeologist and the next week she came out to inspect it,she did not say much but i heard much later there was a preservation order, then 10yrs ago it was carefully excavated and the remains of a Palisaded Hall Complex of the 13th-15th C date was discovered and Conserved and it is believed to be Wallace's Home.
@@alanfox691Yorkshire doesn’t come even close when you’re talking about beautiful landscapes. Scotland knocks the socks of anywhere in England. Even our rivers are clean & not polluted like most down south.
I live on the NC500 - don't bother unless you know the etiquet for driving on single track roads. Locals hate the tourists who think they are on a race track
NO YES NO YES! Who do they think they are? STAZI. Its just another tax on already over-taxed lower income people. Its not value for money. The drama used to be good on BBC but if we wanted to watch it now we should have to chance to pay per view. I won't pay the license fee or give in to fear by the numbers of threatening letters they're sending after about 15 months of living here without a license. I have had the 2nd final warning and am waiting for the visit which will not find a chatty welcome. I DO NOT WATCH BBC OR ANY OTHER LIVE TV AND CHECK RIGOROUSLY ON RU-vid SO I DON'T BREAK THE LAW! But I won't be bullied oh no.
@TVLicenceStop There is no difference in the law with regard to the TV licence here in Scotland. The only differences are: in England a person would be reported to the Director of Public Prosecutions to make a decision on whether to prosecute or not and in Scotland a person would be reported to the Scottish equivalent, The procurator Fiscal, to make a decision on whether to prosecute or not .
In Australia no TV licence needed. In 1974 Australia got rid of TV licence and I was born in 1975 so I never experienced having to pay for TV licence. I wished in the UK they get rid of the TV licence.
I live in the US so I don't have to deal with this issue, but it wouldn't matter to me anyway since I stopped watching TV years ago because it offered nothing but garbage. I don't subscribe to any service but my basic internet and I'm happy with that..
I’m a Scottish woman who phoned tv Licence to inform them I don’t sponsor pedos . He also said if I’ve got sky or virgin I still need a license. I was ranting at the guy he thought I was mad by the end of our call 😜 . They said they would contact me again in a year .
If this summer is as good as last summer you'll love it Jon. The west coast may be slightly wetter than the east. Though to be honest we barely had rain for months on end last year. Where I moved to on the east coast the farmers were watering their fields for months on end trying to keep their crops from dying. Different accents in different regions. People don't mind if you ask them to repeat something or talk slower 😂😂😂 so you understand. I've done the same when I've been in England years ago. I love regional accents. In some areas right up north, many decades ago I hadn't a clue what people said to me 😂😂 and I'm Scottish. The younger generations have helped change that.
Here's some suggestions. 1. Cease and Desist letter to the BBC and their Agents to stop harrasment at your address. 2. Standard WOIRA [withdrawal of implied rights of access] Letter My view, they need to be sent in that order. The reason is you have sent the cease and desist. If they then get the WOIRA and use that to get a warrant without revealing that you have sent them the cease and desist letter, they are in serious trouble with the courts.
@@zog97xy Your tin foil helmet is broken. If they do "increase contact" (concentrate more) that can be addressed with a follow up 'cease and desist warning of harassment'
I'd just keep on applying for a warrant on grounds of being evasive, only gotta one person to agree one time. Least with visit if are watching you get a heads up.
We have a Procurator Fiscal but also we have not got bailiff instead we have what are called Sheriff officers up here in Scotland. I have delt with Sheriff officers before all because our local council are incompetent in keeping records of council tax more than once ( 3 times ). Sheriff officers are employed buy a private company could Stirling Park located in Kilmarnock East Ayrshire. I am not frightened of Sheriff officers they tend to ether send two woman officers or a women & a man in my experience they always come in two's I think they always esend a women officer In the hope you will be nicer to them fat chance. I am frightened of no one & will not give in to bully boy tactics so to speak we Scots are frightened of on one. Keep Safe.
Got 2 lovely letters here mate,1 from febuary and one asking me if i`ll be in on the 30th march with a big red circular stamp stating VISIT APPROVED with the words ENFORCEMENT OFFICER around it and a bloke`s signature in the middle,a chap called Scott Robson who is the enforcement manager apparently ,the one came in a fabulous red envelope, more than willing to email some pics to you, this is what`s posted out in South Wales both addressed to the legal occupier
Hi chilli i cancelled on line after watching your channel and now today just received a letter saying got ten days to get licensed all they will sent enforcement officers round
You mean 'correctly' licensed. If you don't legally need a licence then you're already correctly licensed. Ignore that 10 days B.S., it's just another one of their scare tactics.
You did a reasonable job of pronouncing 'procurator fiscal'. It just means prosecutor. Have a practice at it, say it over and over until it rolls aff yer tongue and then add a Scottish accent and you're good tae go.
Hi john I watched black belt barrister last night And he stated something to stop the visits It revokes the right to enter the property. Can you look into it
What if you want to watch the likes of Quest, QVC, London Live, That's TV, Clubland live over the air you should be able to do so without paying the BBC anyway. Not to mention a motorised satellite dish and live channels there.
@@icdgyixifyinstereo They don't literally have every programme that's on the linear channels. That's TV there's no on demand service for and you have to watch QVC live.
@@icdgyixifyinstereo That's not the point, it's just that you are legally prevented from doing so as it is an example of a channel which can't be watched on demand (that I know of), you have to pay the BBC to watch QVC isn't that absurd obviously, as for the quality of the channel, I enjoy the demonstration of electronics on it occasionally. Actually I've just checked the QVC website and you can actually watch different hours of products on demand, oh well, back to That's TV as the best example of a live channel you have to watch live, goes for the music channels as well.
