Surprising Catch With 1 Inch Gulp Minnow! Realistic Bank Fishing

Today Realistic Fishing is out bank fishing when he catches something surprising with a 1 inch Gulp Minnow. After starting out going after bass to no avail, we quickly change up to a gulp minnow drop shot. I finally start catching fish like bluegill and sunfish. The I set the hook and something surprising happens, the drag starts ringing! The fish on the other end makes a run for the other side of the creek. See what kind of fish we catch on the bank with a one inch gulp minnow, I was surprised for sure.

Per usual, realistic failed to disappoint. I don't even watch the other RU-vid fishing channels anymore. It's all click bait and exaggerated and overwhelming personalities. Keep on doing what you to boss. Glad to see your channel is doing so well.

That happened to me last fall at the Englewood Dam. 5' UL with 4lb flouro on a 1"Gulp. Same size channie. 10 minute fight. Good times.

Sweet catfish Alex. When you caught that small bluegill in the back of my mind I was saying use it to catch a catfish, but all you need is a gulp minnow. 👍

Danng nice fight on that one. That's part of the reason why I enjoy mixing it up and fishing with light tackle from time to time. You get more bites on the smaller lures, AND if you do hook into something decent it's a heart racing experience that requires finesse and planning.

Peelin drag 6lb test! Love to just listen to the reel sing. I thought it was a Gar, since you saw that dead one. Then I thought yeah a Drum would take off like that for the other side. Behold, a nice channel cat and right before the rain came, you got er landed!

Similar thing happened to me last weekend. Took the boat out for the first time this year, and I was fishing a cove with a square bill crankbait. Hooked and landed a 20lb flathead on the square bill. I hope to have the video on my channel soon.

The weather has been weird in the U.S. this seasons. In March we got a super snow day! I mean big flakes and everything white. I asked some of the older residents at my apartment complex and they said they’ve never seen that since 1999. They said that was the last time it snowed that much!

Ive done well with the gulp 1in minnows for crappie at night under a float. Also, few things are better than the unexpected catfish on light gear.

awesome fish great work on the drag and taking your time getting that cat in i caught a 37 lb yellowfin tuna on 12 lb test on a bait caster its a fun fight i love watching people i take fishing do the same keep it realistic buddy
