wau! Thank you for such a great video! Who would say that EG is so diverse and beautiful. Btw, it is interesting, that writer Robin Cook introduced this relatively unknown country in his novel Chromosome 6 already in 1997...:)
I have visited Malabo for work several times, and I was allowed to play soccer and I wanted to go play basketball with some Asians but was discouraged. We partied in the street one night and met many friendly locals.
Do you know the GDP per capita in this small country is higher than India, Armenia, Paraguay, Ukraine, Venezuela, Philippines, Honduras, North Korea etc Such beautiful clean country and landscape❤❤❤
Equatorial Guinea's government is totalitarian and has one of the worst human rights records in the world, consistently ranking among the "worst of the worst"... (Wikipedia)
Sa lahat ng lugar sa africa ang equatorial guinea ang malinis ang mga tao parang pinoy din malinis sa bahay, at tahimik sa equatorial guinea at disiplinado mga tao
Colonizers owe so much reparations along with the Catholic Church it is a damn shame …every EG should be rich but we all know only the most high will recompense the injustice in that day to come…
The president of Equatorial Guinea must not associate itself with the Americans no Americans welcome in Africa however a couple is needed to put this self interest president out
A lot of countries were not able to recover because of European exploitation from the past. But karma is going back to Europe now. Those countries that cannot rise up from poverty are instead having their people escape to Europe. So Europe now has refugee crisis. Europe prospered while most of the countries that they exploited cannot rise up. So they went to Europe instead and Europe has no choice but to accommodate them.
Oh don't forget that Spain wasn't only exploiting Equatorial Guinea but they also obliterated the local's native languages. How come that ⅔s of Equatorial Guineans speak Spanish as their mother tongue but most of them are Blacks even most of whom aren't of Spanish descent? Just like what they did in Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Paraguay! Most of the inhabitants are Amerindians but they speak Spanish which is a White people's language! That's crazy as freak how colonialism could banish the local's mother tongue. I've heard in Angola half of the people are native Portuguese speakers like how the freak did that happen? Most of the residents are Native Africans but the freaking Portuguese colonizers managed to destroy their mother tongue! that's just freaking crazy...
Oh not only outside of Europe. Ireland which is the neighbor of the UK and an ex-member of the UK undergone the same thing! The English managed to destroy the use of the Irish language! After the great famine a lot of people in Western Ireland(mostly in the provinces of Munster and Connacht) emigrated in large number to the US and the UK and mostly England(that's why a 25% of the English population have at least 1 ancestor from Ireland). Most of whom were Irish speakers but within a generation the Irish language disappeared because the previous generation didn't want to pass down the language and the rampant intermarriages between the Irish and the local people of the US and England so the next generations became native English speakers in such an instant way! but hold on a second. The Irish in Ireland themselves also adopted English as their language of life and saviour! Thus they didn't pass down the language to their children and only spoke English in their homes! That mostly happened in Western Ireland but in Eastern Ireland especially in Dublin and it's surrounding areas spoke English even during the 18th century! That's a no wonder since the English settlers(I must say colonists) intermarried with the native Irish and most of the next generation became Native English speakers instantly! So the adoption of the English language mostly happened in Western Ireland and even most of the Irish who live in its western part of their country don't even have any degree of English lineage but mostly speak English as their native language! While in Eastern Ireland the situation is a bit different where the population have partial or at least 1 English colonist ancestor from England. Don't forget that a numerous people from England are also Irish descendants(mostly partial/mix English-Irish) and that's why the genetics of the English and the Irish resembling each other's quiet strong(but mostly the English genetically similar to the people of Scotland, Wales and the Netherlands since the population are mostly Celtic but mixed with the Anglo-Saxons which genetically are so similar to the modern-day Dutch people and and Southeastern Scotland the population also mixed with the Anglo-Saxons but if we talk about the genetics of the whole of Scotland so yes the Scottish people are Celts but those who dwell in Southeastern are genetically similar to the English)
Talking about countries within Great Britain now. The Lowland Scots which is a Germanic-speaking peoples from Southeastern Scotland destroyed the Scottish Gaelic speakers in the Highlands and thus they speak English now! The English in the southern oppressed the use of the Welsh language in Wales thus modern-day Welsh people are English-speaking people and even their accent is really really similar to the English! But just like Ireland most of Welsh residents in the Eastern Wales which is adjacent to England intermixed in such a large number with the English so it's accelerated the language shifting while the population of Wales undergone a language oppression in the 1800s until the 1900s but gladly Wales managed to preserve their Celtic language but unfortunately most of whom are the rurals and live in a isolated place. So the English and the Southeastern Scottish had the same habits actually. They liked to destroy the people's languages and made them to be a Germanic-speaking people! I don't know if they possessed the spirits of the Anglo-Saxons which back then also destroyed their language(the English and Southeastern Scottish people now are Germanic-speaking peoples due to the Anglo-Saxon invasion). And the Anglo-Saxon managed the locals to speak their language and I guess that spirit possessed the English and Southeastern Scottish people who likes to destroy the other Celtic languages that were still spoken in the British Isles but gladly the Welsh people are still speaking Welsh even though most of whom live in an isolated area and rural area of the country...
@@wavemaker2077 Yes now almost all of the population speaks English as their native tongue but in the past they originally spoke Irish! Blame it on the British(especially the English)
I must say, that as a native Spanish speaker I'm impressed by the way they speak Spanish. Their pronunciation of some words resemble the way the Spaniards (people from Spain) do.
