SURPRISING HIDDEN ENDING (MASTER CHIEF REMOVES HELMET) In Halo 4 

Here’s an interpretation. Has anyone thought about how the screen goes black just as the helmet lifts and stays on that black screen for a while? So while you are building in anticipation to see who he really is, the game cuts to black allowing you see your reflection where his face would be. As technically you are the Master Chief. it was you who embodied the character throughout and beat the game….Anyone can be the chief but you have to prove yourself.

He put that armor on at the beginning of Halo 2, and didn’t take it off until the end of Halo 4. Chief needs a shower.

Anyone who has played the first Halo game knows that he has a helmet under the helmet.

If you are curious about what Chief looks like beneath the armor... He's pale as a ghost and covered in scars. He's not some type of knight in shining armor. He has a job and he gets it done. Most people who see him outside of his armor are frightened of him.

To point out a little thing here, he is so tall he can't fit in the armor removal stations with the ring and all that, they have to do it manually because there isn't a station made for his height. Like if you notice the rings in the background, especially at 1:12, there are people getting their armor removed as they are tilted back or just hopping on, but master chief stands in front of it because he is too large for a basic station.

That guy tripping on the treadmill shows how his legacy is so well known

I like how when he walked in the first time and she said, "I thought you'd be taller." Now he is like 8 ft tall and she is like, "Oh shit."

Imagine being a Spartan, you are the top of your army and what you would think would be the most badass position to be as if you were in the seals or a green beret. People look up to you and scream in joy when your in battle with them. But as you are thinking you are at the top only to see a legend walk past you and seeing his stories permanently imprinted on his armor you only think you have a ways to go.

Even the other Spartans are looking on with total awe. It's like a bunch of upstart heroes looking at a super-duper hero.

What i love about this scene is the size difference of Master Chief and the other spartans, and that he had to get his armor off manualy since he didn't fit into the ring thingy.

I love how? he is naturally just taller then everyone like yeah the suit gives you an extra inch or two but he is always, always the tallest

I always have and always will laugh at 1:18 just seeing his 7 foot walking down a area with only 4 or 5 foot people. 😂😂😂

My only complaint with Halo 4's story are the nanobots. I think it's a dumb excuse for trying to introduce a new art style. If nanobots fixed the armor, why was the chest piece still battle damaged? He should've had his Halo 3 Mark VI throughout Halo 4. It would've made it much more approachable for the fans. He got rid of that armor at the end of Halo 4 anyway. It would've been much more intense to see him finally take off the armor weve seen him in since 2004. They should've waited for Halo 5 to give him his new armor. That and the prologue. In the prologue, the Spartan II's dropping down needed to be in Mark IV. Then when we see Cortana being presented to Chief, John needed to wearing Mark V. A lot of people don’t know that Chief actually met Cortana before CE when testing the mark V armor with AI Compatibility. This would’ve been an eye opener with fans just how that picture of Miranda Keyes on Halsey's desk of the Halo 5 prologue taught so many people that Miranda was her daughter. I know people say that all the Spartans wearing this new armor was “symbolic” but I don’t buy it. It wouldve been so nastolgic seeing the mark IV’s fighting off covenant saving humanity. Then CE mark V receiving Cortana. And then we see Chief rocking Mark VI again. Like dear lord, lore fans would’ve lost it to see this summary of The Spartan II journey. And most importantly, It’s John's back story. I can’t stress this enough. Who cares if it wouldn’t have been worth it make the new armor for a couple seconds. They made that Chieftan. Plus, you don’t cut the fans short if they’re the reason you’re around. This would’ve made up for the changed Forward Unto Dawn and brute like elites. I wouldn’t mind if they remastered 4 just for this.

I was honesty sad when i saw Cheifs face after beating it on legendary. I know Cheif is white but i always imagined myself as him so it kinda made me sad lol

Imagine being one of those Spartan 4s in that room at that moment. Half of them probably signed up because of Chief. Hell some probably had posters of this dude in their bedroom.

He probably smells terrible under there, and i never really realized that chief could age, Like he walk as if hes in his 20’s easily. Hes getting aged

So I figured out they are coming out with Halo 5 for the Xbox One. And you play as Master Chief. But the hidden scene in Halo 4 The're obviously not going to show you his face. You only see his face when he's a child.

The music brings back so many memories

I am pretty sure there is a part where you see his face, I understand why you would cut that out, but there is a brief part where you see the bridge of his face and his eyes even though they are mostly covered with a dark shadow

Rewatching it now, chief is a bloody giant compared to the others

I know librarian magic made chief bigger and better but his armor still looks . . . smaller for lack of a better word did he grow in the suit without getting it adjusted?

I thought he was done with it all, taking off the armor after fighting for so long, it felt like defeat at the end of this game

I've not seen a comment on something that hit harder than his almost broken walk. The thud of the chestplate hitting the deck, a man larger than life shedding his armor because it does him no good anymore. That thud says it all.

the 40k Equivalent would be the reverse the Primaris Marines being taller and stronger but staring in awe at seeing an older Astartes Whos seen hundreds of thousands of battlefields and while smaller than his "replacements" his armour is more dented and battle-worn than their Armour which is shiny and new and hasn't seen anything close to what he has seen.

Master chief is actually a teenager who was taken as a kid and trained to be a troop but he ended as a great fight so they gave him the suit to and suited him up and the suit has regeneration so the suit wouldn't break
