the real problem is the disharmony between the instinctive self and the mental self. our instinctive self (located in the abdomen, also called the second brain) tells us to do or not do certain things. due to social constructs, however, we tend to let our mental self prevail example: I would like to get angry with my mother because I think she is incapable of doing something, but I can't, partly because I am small so I am afraid of her as a parent, partly because it is not right to get angry with her "because she is my mother " therefore the mental self prevails over the instinctive self over time the mismatch between these two aspects leads to energetic instability within our body

Of course we’re disconnected we’re stuck at home being sick! If I was not stuck at home being sick I would be so involved in everything. It’s kinda a chicken or the egg type situation.

True. But how you are being here and how you got here are two different things in my experience. And I certainly was not living my life in line with my values and self. I see that now, but change takes time. So also the healing journey takes time.

I agree with everything this lady says. I think trauma, low self esteem& an over identification with being a caring person can lead to illness. I am an ex nurse, present day social worker so this is true for me (apart from trauma). I feel I need to take a break& work in something where Im not in a caring role. I am on holidays at the moment writing this from a sunny beach in Northern Sardinia & my body& mind feel the better of it. 🤞 I win the Irish Lottery on Saturday & will be able to focus solely on my recovery while paying the mortgage😉

Shame on you! This is not true for all sufferers. This type of explanation is EXACTLY what makes it so difficult to get real medical help. Most doctors already can't be arsed to think harder about what to do to help. They are all too pass us on to psychiatry, a specialty that in reality doesn't work with this type of stuff.

True.

Your body is fine. The doctors checked it, right? So it only can be coming from the Brain or it’s a spiritual thing.

@@nestechen the point is about the negation of symptoms. And. To say it's just in brain and from spiritual point of view negates the suffering.
@nestechen

@@vs_vs16 It doesn’t. If something in the Body was wrong, doctors could see it. It is most likely your brain perceiving danger. When you train your brain that there is no danger, you’ll experience great relief in symptoms. Check out Pain Free You.
